It specifically mentions war though, and Scrappy's confirmed that the plot will have a significant battling element. So it would be very odd to have two wars in the space of two months.
It also means two NC elements running at the same time, since Free the Faeries will be awarding new items daily until the 26th. It seems likely that they accidentally added the same retire date to these packs as the Free the Faeries slingshot packs. Retirement dates in the mall are sort of variable lately - items routinely have them changed after release since they go up with the wrong ones (or sometimes none at all).

Makes sense JS would do something Faerie Ruins' related, it was the most recent plot that came with high praise. I can't really complain about it, infact I don't mind and I'm open to it, since Meridell had both of its wars back to back. As for Faerie overload, a tiny bit THOUGH it might be intentional. Remember, Kaia was given a special magic book from Fyora, that could be set up for this. Her unique brand of magic (we'll have to see how "unique" though, one thing to say her magic is different but if we follow up on it we have to see how) could be a key element in fighting off the Wraiths. With all that said... is anyone else reminded of Wraithland with this. Not saying JS copied some of ideas (infact I'd like JS to work or at the very least be inspired from us), but a Faerie war with the Wraiths sound eerily similar...

The next war will definitely be a Meridell war. And by "definitely" I mean "I really hope so and will send Scrappy passive-aggressive editorial questions about it until TNT decides to freeze me."
Also... I like the idea of a follow-up to TFR! Much as I like a lot of the other plots, there's a sense of finality to most of them--TFR left a good lot of loose ends.

Eh, let's first see how JS does with their first one. Like, after seeing what they did with the Faerie Festival that's not filling me with confidence. Like, I'm really close to just submitting my plot and event ideas in (complete with scripts, art directions, and puzzle details) if at the end of this year they show they do not have a firm grasp on Neopets lore and deliver disappointing event & plot. In a way I'm glad they're just doing something with the Faerie and Wraith war as it doesn't conflict with any of my ideas. Yes, I know, this is making me sound like a snob. But I rather sound like a snob and try to direct JS in some way toward a more Neopet feeling than just idly sit back and watch them do event after event getting stuff wrong and putting little effort in as they either don't care or don't know where to put the effort in.
