Gracias, amiga! (I'm 99.9% sure I said that correctly.) Yes, I would very much like to retain consistency with the list =) Examples of "go to" command: Go to college/ go to the park EDIT: Ginz ❤ I just realized some of the commands in the top part of that webpage I linked to (in the infographic) differ from their counterparts on the bottom of the page (which I suspect is Mexican Spanish). I've decided to stick to the commands in Mexican Spanish ^^ Ahh, I see! I'm not sure what those are in, because the Go to bed command uses a word for bed "chucha" that I hadn't heard before. XD I'd use "cama" instead. There are's still words like Mirá, Buscá, Atacá that wouldn't need to have the accent (´) in the last a for Mexican Spanish either. (having it changes how they're pronounced, because it changes which syllable is emphasized) But uh, pretty much all the words would be the same if you forgo all the accents altogether, which might even be easier for you, because I know that in English keyboards sometimes the key combinations to type characters like á are really tricky! XD;; (I wouldn't recommend that if you were learning Spanish, because accents are important for correct spelling, but for a RP, honestly, why make things so complicated? XD; ) So to recap: Using the bottom list commands sounds perfect, and I recommend you not worry about any of the accents. Let's go: Vamonos Go to: Ve a (you could use 've al' or 've a la' depending on whether the place is feminine or masculine, because Spaish words have genders for some reason. Example: Ve al parque (park/masculine) Ve a la casa (house/femenine) but again, why make things so complicated? XD;; "Ve a" can be a catch all XD) Quiet: Silencio Touch: Toca Settle (down): Calmada Get busy: Ocupate I hope that helps! XD Sorry for being so long-winded! If you have any other questions at any point during the RP, like if you need new commands translated or just want to know how to say something specific, my PM inbox is always open! Or you can post here and tag me to make sure I see it. ^^

It had several medium-sized businesses that made up most of the town's economy, such as a textile plant and a number of large farms. I've been mulling over some sort of manual labor job for Mr. Bizelli, and since the textile plant was worth mentioning, that's as good as anything else. I don't actually know how textile plants work, but I wasn't planning on dwelling on his job anyway.

It begins. *lightning strike in background*
Okay but yeah, enjoying reading everyone's posts so far! It's so wonderfully innocuous right now.
And even though I'm not good with either languages or dogs, it makes my heart smile seeing you guys planning the different commands. xD We not only have some diversity in our humans, but also in our pets! \ o /

Quick question, but is the cathedral right next to the fair stalls? In the prologue picture, it looks like its sitting right next to the stalls, but I think it said the fair was taking place in the market/park, both of which have a good distance between them and the church (and there's also a town hall in in the way).

I was imagining that building might be the town hall, Twillie, since it has a clock tower rather than a bell tower? But I could be way off on that one

Oh! You're probably right! I got confused between the two towers, lol x)

So uh I think I might have missed something, even though the tents are getting put up, are wares/perishables being sold? I see a few things pointing to this but want to be absolutely sure. XD

Hey guys, anyone has fun ideas on what to name the burger place? Since my character works there, it'll probably come up frequently in my posts, and so far I've just been calling it 'the burger place', but I think it'd be nicer if it had an actual name. I was thinking it could parody a RL franchise? McWoonald's? Burger Palace? (The latter amuses me because it's almost Burger Place, but with one extra letter! XD I was loosely basing it off of Burger King, if that wasn't clear) Other suggestions are welcome, though!
EDIT: Oh, and I forgot! I had another question... how long does the fair last? Is it a one-day event, or a more extended one?

I have an NPC for Wrighton!
Name: Zarela Hughes, aka Z the Magnificent. Age: 23 Occupation: Magician Appearance: Zarela is nearly six feet tall, broad-shouldered, with a muscular and full figure. She has brown eyes, a dark complexation, and her hair is purple and coily. A portion of the left side is often braided flat and banded with metallic beads, and the rest left as a voluminous cloud. Style: On stage, she wears a tophat and a suit with a streamlined appearance, with slacks or skirt. She tends to dress sharp off stage unless she is working out. Personality: Theatrical, energetic, and friendly. She's adaptable. Z is highly extraverted, and tends to come off intensely and get wound up by others when off-stage. Trivia: Does not know how to hug short people. Prefers to use a pocketwatch to keep time.

Pixie She seems like a fun character! Her hair especially sounds really sweet! Ginz ❤ Omg, I really love McWoonald's xD Along with franchise parodies, I'm also trying to think of maybe mystery puns for the name (not like Wrighton is explicitly a mystery town to the characters, but I thought it could still be cute x3). Best I got right now is "Burger Mystery" instead of "murder mystery," but hopefully I can come up with something better >.> Some other super cheesy suggestions: Up and Down Burger, Five Huns and Buns, Royal Fryness, Wrighton Burger Co., Meat 'n Greet

So uh I think I might have missed something, even though the tents are getting put up, are wares/perishables being sold? I see a few things pointing to this but want to be absolutely sure. XD For the record, Holly and Rosemary are not. XD They've brought nothing in the way of wares with them to sell, and won't until the actual festival day.

XD With all these people rubbernecking at the fair set-up, never waste an opportunity to make a bit of quick cash.I dunno though. xD I had assumed stuff would be sold later and my post reflects that (sorry if it's unclear) but I don't know what others would have to say, especially goderators.

The image in the prologue is the town hall, yep; the cathedral has two spires. Although that's really not very far from the scene either, the graveyard and the cathedral are right behind the town hall (and the cathedral's spires should probably actually have been visible in the prologue image, whoopsydaisy.) So uh I think I might have missed something, even though the tents are getting put up, are wares/perishables being sold? I see a few things pointing to this but want to be absolutely sure. XD This is another one of those "up to you" things. Teeechnically the fair hasn't started yet, but if someone wanted to bring a table out there and make use of the increasing crowd ahead of time, no reason they can't. (unless of course the city authorities take issue with that and dispatch Holly to do some strongarming-of-the-law, in which case yay more interaction? :'D We try not to pin things down that rigidly because this way there's better flexibility to go with whatever looks most workable at the time.) McWoonald's? Burger Palace? (The latter amuses me because it's almost Burger Place, but with one extra letter! XD I was loosely basing it off of Burger King, if that wasn't clear) Other suggestions are welcome, though! EDIT: Oh, and I forgot! I had another question... how long does the fair last? Best I got right now is "Burger Mystery" instead of "murder mystery," but hopefully I can come up with something better >.> Some other super cheesy suggestions: Up and Down Burger, Five Huns and Buns, Royal Fryness, Wrighton Burger Co., Meat 'n Greet I love you guys. =D My top favorite of that lot is Five Huns and Buns but then again I'm a terrible person. (Also for the record I want at least one bakery in town to be named Pun in the Oven, because I missed that chance during the last Halloween houses and it has to be used sometime, dangit.) As for the duration of the fair, we figure that officially it lasts over the weekend but in actuality can take a few extra days to gear up and then gear down again. It's a fair by the people and for the people so it wouldn't have very clear cutoff points - someone might start up early like Fluffle up thar, someone might've come from out of town to sell their stuff and decide to stay longer because they've come all this way anyway, maybe the restaurants are offering specials for a whole week because yay clientele, that sort of thing.

Does anyone else want to second one of those? I'll probably keep calling it 'the burger place' for now, but go back and edit my posts retroactively when we decide on a name.
