The first day of spring is March 20 and the first of summer is June 20 . Yeah, it looks like we have until the 20th. Ah, so we do. For some reason I totally convinced myself "we have until the first day of June". Not sure why. Well, that gives me time to do more things. I should take that to my advantage. There are some things I really need to do more towards the start of summer than the end anyway. Anyway, guess I won't update Wednesday/Thursday after all. xD I'll still try to finish that book in the next 2 days, though. I want to round out the month with that.

I actually finally had a pretty productive week this time around. Or it was at least busy! I finally cleaned up my dresser and my front table on Friday (thanks, lost USB drive (I found it), did some vacuuming (still need to do more, my vacuum cleaner sucks at vacuuming liter. ...Or rather, it doesn't <.< ), and actually made some progress on story stuff. I had to sit down and hammer out a few things and make some tweaks and rewrite the start to a fic chapter like five times - but I hit my 1k words a day goal like three days in a row (I missed yesterday but that’s because I was with family most of the day) (and then when I got home, the internet died for the second time that day, for the third day in a row, and by the time I wrestled it back up and got through with a phone call to my internet company’s customer service, all I wanted to do was shoot things in Overwatch). No wordcount update yet, but I’ll try to get one soon. ...I may have screwed myself over on that, though, by not keeping stuff in a separate document. Oops. What else...oh, my journal - so, I had a task to move all the entries in my personal, really old, self-coded HTML journal, which I’ve kept since 2009. I recently rebuilt it from the ground up and had this great idea that I was going to move all the entries over and hahahahaha nope. Way too much cutting and pasting and searching for images and even with a form I made to convert things, it was going to take forever. So...I fumbled through making an archive of the old version, and just started fresh from scratch. Since I was literally just not writing entries because it was going to be a pain to work them back in later, and it preserves my sanity, I think this is the better option =D

Maybe even a productivity thread in the near future....hmm...
As for this week I've been attempting to force myself into writing. 200 words a day--not much, but it adds up.
The story I've been challenged for YEARS with is finally chugging along, steadily nearing completion.

I finished Part 3 of Ink Inversion. Working on comics makes me feel better about my life, it really feels like what I'm meant to do. That took most of the weekend.
I did some sketching this week as well.
My internship ends on Friday, so I'll be able to cross that off my list. I really felt like I've learned so much there. I'll be sad when it's time to leave.
My next focus will taking a vacation in June. And then looking for a job. I really should go straight to looking for job, I know. But I feel so overwhelmed lately, I think I need this pause in my life to process everything, and I will have the time for that in June.
Oh, also did more yard work. If there's a summer cleaning, then I'll have to add that to the list. Been pulling weeds out of the ivy, it's a lot of work, but satisfying.

A week later, and I'm double posting? Hrm, oh well, it is time for my weekly update anyway. I got some cleaning done this week, some art. I might get to go camping next week, which would be exciting. Washed a bunch of dishes this weekend, including some of the ivy dishes from my grandma. And I finished my rat hammock for my pet rats! I took some pictures, so I'm going to throw these in a spoiler. I cut up a pair of old jeans, and got a square of material from one of the legs. I took some ribbon I found, and sewed one at each corner. I hemmed it using my sewing machine, which I haven't pulled out in a few years. And I ended up with this: I took the ribbon from each corner, and tied them to the top of the cage, so that it draped, allowing them to explore. We've got Margret exploring above, and Pepper exploring below: And here's a sort of funny picture of Violet sniffing it, like, "What is this strange thing??" They didn't know what to make of it at first. The floor is all wiggly and strange, there's been nothing like this in the cage before. But by the next day, they seem to have gotten use to it, to the point I found Sidney taking a nap in there: So that's all four of my pet rats, and their new hammock.

Kinda slacked on the 200 word a day thing, but I finished the story I have literally left unfinished for YEARS. Now is time for editing and the constant battle of proclamations.
A little writing daily adds up.

Oh wow I totally missed this week's update, didn't I? Oops!
I feel like I didn't mark off much on my list, but I know I've made progress XP I'm actually on-track wordcount-wise (1k a day) for this month so far, but it's scattered between my novel, Markus fic, my worldbuilding, and then random snippets of future projects - because when brain gives me words, I write 'em!
I also...sort of started on my Tengiz worldbuilding infographics? ...By "infographics" I obviously mean a simple webpage that I will take screenshots of later possible <.< what do you mean "you're so predictable, Tiger?"
Minor house-cleaning thing, but cable guy had to come over, uh...last Thursday? and install a new modem, so I finally finished vacuuming the living room (since that's where the modem and router are all hooked up).
Otherwise...just kinda moving along~

On the job applications front, I'm at about 12 now, with one call back. That actually led to an interview one week from yesterday, but they said I'd hear back on Tuesday, and the call still has yet to come. I'll probably follow up with them again today to see what's going on. I also walked into a few small print screening and graphics shops to see if they were hiring, and while two of them said no, one's cashier was unsure and asked for my contact info to give to the owners. The chances of hearing back from them is probably slim, but seeing as I expected all the stores to say they weren't hiring, those are still better chances than I thought I was going to get x) And lol looking at my art check list now, I can't say I've finished anything on that yet because, once again, I've decided on a whim to pick up another project and make a calendar xD I should probably sit down and actually finish the check list items, though, since they're pretty small, but that just depends on when I remember. Calendar-wise, though, I'm determined to actually see this one through, and I'm steadily making progress. Two months have been completed so far: I've shown the top part of July on Discord before, and it's of my AtLA character Mai, but I only just recently finished up September (so many leaves, never again xP). The kitten is a Warrior Cats character named Yellowpaw, although nowadays I don't really imagine she's part of any clan. The theme is characters that I've made in the past, often fan characters, that I've sort of emulated myself through (I don't want to say self inserts, but that's sort of what they are xD), that I often call "alter egos." The calendar is more for personal use than commercial, partly because I worry about copyright, and partly because no one would recognize my characters and thus not take an interest x) But since the calendar has been my main project for the past week, it's mostly dominated my time; hopefully I can get to my other art projects soon x3

Might as well do this while I can't sleep due to watching election results come in.
I have been making fairly steady progress with the fic and I am just up to the point where I had to stop last time and cut out a ton of stuff which wasn't working. However, I have greatly surpassed the 7,000 words I had cut out due to the expansion of the plot to allow for pacing and to show what was previously implied.
I did a little drawing. Not much, and I doubt I will make a significant dent on my art list because it keeps growing, but I did a little bit. I have forgotten how to do it, however.
Job search...I suffered a bunch of setbacks and have taken a small step back to focus on self-care. I plan to fill in an app tomorrow though.
I have spent most of the week cooking through. Specifically, baking. Specifically, baking for Dormouse's second birthday. I made banana and white chocolate cupcakes for her nursery group and a chocolate and strawberry birthday cake for her. They all turned out amazingly and were delicious. I will post pictures as soon as I steal them from Dormouse's dad. The important thing is that Dormouse utterly loved them, which is good. I show affection through food. ^.^
What else? Ooh, I spent three hours on Tuesday working on Important Accounts Business as part of my volunteering. The charity I work with has to report their income and get it audited to retain their registered charity status so me, the treasurer and the former chair who knows how to do this got together and did the most important part of the figures for the report. It was fun and made me feel useful.

Hiya, have a belated/early spring cleaning update because I was computer-less last Wednesday to Sunday. xD First order of business, I finally finished reading Hero City and its mission works! ='DDD You did amazingly, guys, all of you. <3 I could probably write fan mail to everyone who participated. While reading, I laughed aloud, nearly cried, and furrowed my brow intensely a whole lot. Major kudos, keep writing, you're awesome obviously and I hope you know that. ^^ I enjoyed reading your story very much. Laudatory quotation for the back cover of the roleplay:" Hero City: Capital of Justice follows an exceptional story filled with a colorful, extraordinary cast that creates and revels in its colorful, extraordinary situations. The characters vary widely, not only in their origins and abilities, but also in their personalities, motivations, and determination to deal with all the disasters and twists hurled their way. They find themselves pitted not only against their opposing teams, but also against their own friends and coworkers, and the stakes are higher than ever for this season in our protagonists' tale. Told through many different perspectives, each character is given their due limelight, and each one contributes to the saga at hand in their own way. Truly a marvelous collaboration of creative minds. Find a copy of Hero City at your local Netwuff bookstore and read up!" -Lizica, Local Purveyor of Tinfoil Following the spring cleaning list, I did finally start my Madge fic. Having fun so far! xP How much of this can I write before Wrighton starts??? *FURIOUS TYPING TYPING TYPING*I debated at the start of this event whether or not I should put "Stay Healthy" on my list, but I eventually added it because I decided that even if I got absolutely nothing else done the entire spring, I wanted to be able to cross that off. I know it's not the end of the event yet, but my latest lab results were almost all within normal range again, so I think that's progress worth mentioning! \ o / Woooo~

I neglected to update on my update day (Monday); whoops! I'll probably just move it to whenever Spring Cleaning ends next week rather than Monday both to tie things up and because my schedule slipped anyway.
I also neglected to update last week because I don't feel like I really did much. xD I did finish that book I was reading, though! So that's progress.
Still haven't made progress on the book I actually do need to read for school. Oops. We'll see what I have time for.
And this week... I wrote a tiny bit more of Clue fic.
...I really wanted to do more than that. But I don't know if I'll be able to get to things much. I'll try to do at least one more thing before the end of this event, though.

Last Thursday, mom and I found a nice four-person tent on sale, and ended up buying it. And then we tested it out Friday night by camping in the backyard. That was fun. I still want to visit a state park or something, but I think I'll go ahead and cross that off the list, because I don't think it'll happen in the next week, the weather's just too hot and/or rainy.
I washed even more dishes, because I still have dishes that were given to me, but need to be washed before I use them or put them away for storage. But I'm making a pretty good dent in that pile. Also, putting dishes in this list turned out to be a terrible idea in general. I just tossed them in because I didn't know what to put down, but really, it gets old, commenting on it all the time because they'll never be done.
I finished some final touch-ups on Parts 4 and 5 of Ink 3, and scanned them in. I've been working on cleaning up Part 4, I think it'll be done either today or tomorrow.
Also a lot of cleaning and organizing in general. Set up a second desk in my room for things like crafting, sewing, and just projects in general that need a larger workspace.
I actually got a lot of things done this week, very productive.
