So I decided to try Proboard's Tapatalk app: www.proboards.com/mobile-forum-appThe only thing is, I can't find the Neopian Times Writers Forum anywhere on it. I've tried searching "Neopets" "Neopian" "ntwriters" "Neopian Times Writers Forum," and probably a dozen other odd phrases. I've dug through search results on some of the vaguer terms like "Neopets" and "writers," and I even found Jellyneo of all things. But not this place. So, I bring it to you, mods. How do I find this forum on there? What's the magic search phrase I'm missing? *** Bonus question! In entering this sub-board, I came across this thread discussing the creation of the forum banners we see at the top of each page (Sometimes I even refresh the page so I can see more of them): ntwriters.proboards.com/thread/49701/create-new-ntwf-banner Is that like, a thing you're still accepting submissions for? Could someone today create something to be added to the list?

I don't use Tapatalk, so I'm sorry I can't help with that, but about the forum banners, YES, submissions for those are always open! It'd be amazing to see more of them! =D Please feel free to create your own if you want!! (I know I'm retired, but I get excited about banners XD)

Hmm, I did some googling on the Tapatalk issue, and I think I'll need to take this into Mod Squad since I don't have access to a tab I'd need to check to see if we're actually submitted to the directory =P We'll let you know what we find out ^^ In the meantime, I know I've seen Geo 🇺🇦 🌻 post from Tapatalk pretty frequently; Geo, any chance you know and wouldn't mind sharing how to find us in the forum directory, if that's how you hooked it up? (And like Ginz said, the more banners the merrier!)

I didn't join via Tapatalk by searching the directory because I couldn't find this forum there. Instead, I installed the app on my device, visited this forum in the web browser, and was prompted to open the app. This allowed me to add the NTWF to my Tapatalk app. The prompt appears as a header sort of thing on the page. This is iOS but it looks similar on Android. Tapping open launches the app and asks you if you'd like to add the NTWF to it: Weird note, Tapatalk doesn't work on an Amazon Fire tablet, at least the cheapest model, despite the tablet running a modified Android OS. Since it's not officially supported, I'm sure logging a bug report will only trigger finger pointing at Amazon for doing something different.

Okay so Hunty must've intimidated the directory into working; she just checked and "Neopian" and "Neopian Times Writer's Forum" (apostrophe placement very important there) both pull us up in the directory, at least on the computer, so, try one of those?

So it works now. Yeah my method was what I did a year ago and things may have been fixed. The search is awful if the lack of one special character throws it off.
Also, if you accidentally hit the "report" button while trying to quote a post, the Tapatalk app will crash on iOS.

Do you mean this directory? www.proboards.com/forum-directory/search/results/1?q=neopianI did check there earlier, and it showed up on there, and I checked on my mobile browser just now, and it shows up as well. But on the actual Tapatalk app, "Neopian" and "Neopian Times Writer's Forum" yield nothing. I did add the apostrophe this time, and that didn't do the trick. Geo 🇺🇦 🌻 The popup isn't showing up for me, but perhaps I closed ages ago, and a hard refresh would make it appear. I'll play with that when I get home. I am using my pretty cheap Android phone made by ZTE, so I don't know if that would make a difference. Overall, I'm getting the feeling that this might not be as simple a problem as I thought, so I'll have to do some research to see if other people on the internet have been having such problems.

Hmm...I did some more googling, and didn't see anything related to Android specifically (did find some iOS issues, ironically), though I wouldn't be surprised if that wound up being an issue in some way. I did see a few cases where searching for the forum's full URL worked instead, so, maybe try searching ntwriters.proboards.com if you can't get the banner to show up.

Okay, so I copied and pasted "ntwriters.proboards.com" into the search on Tapatalk, and it finally managed to pull up. So that finally worked. Thanks for all your help, everyone! In a side note, you really think they'd have more metadata to work with, as far as being able to search up websites like this one.

Tapatalk never really made Proboards integration a priority. Only their first party forums work really well. Integration is there but it's really the bare minimum.
