"That's a nice program." Silver said, turning to look out the window again. --- "I don't bite unless I'm bitten first." Joystix joked as she accepted his hand. She led him around the arcade. "We have games here developed by Digitals, some of them are completely from our culture, others from other cultures with our own Rinamian flavor. People in the city come and play the games, which helps fund the other work we do in the city. There's a theater in the back for Rinamian movies, and Rinamians get in free. We show films by other worlds too, specially selected films Rinamians might be interested in." From the sounds coming from the theater, some Terminator movie was probably playing. "Got any favorite films?" she asked. Occii nodded. "Indeed." They've come down to a landing pad at one of the cities. Colorful banners embroidered with Trallyean script flutter in the breeze form the high branches and ceiling above. The speakers in the shuttle thank them for choosing to ride with them, and the shuttle comes to a halt. with a hiss, the doors open and let in cool, humid air. They are assailed with the scent of wood, cooking fruits, and many trallyr. Oirdz gets up only after all the other passengers have mostly left. ----- Solluk took a moment to think. "I do not have a favorite film. Film is still a new genre of art to me. But I do like plays. they are like plays, yes?" Silver and Rith both waited on Oirdz to move, and once he did so Silver excitedly scurried ahead. Rith followed cautiously behind. --- "Yeah, they're like plays. Plays that were recorded and can be watched over and over. Where exactly where you living that didn't have movies?" she asked.

The only exception are the few tolvan powered machines that rolled around handing out travel pamphlets. Most people refused them. --- "That is wonderful.... Oh, just underwater. Not that we couldn't have worked around it, but it was never a priority. But there is nothing like a twilit opera at the hope's edge stage.... sigh..... to have a copy of that..." Silver stumbled after them, and began looking around for alternative methods of travel, such as the pole the staircase wound down. --- "500 years? Wow... uh, that's the public stuff." She led him to the back, through a door with tilted slots in it. On a shelf near the door were open trays of small electronic cylinders. "Those are the Digital caps, Digitals wanting to explore the city borrow capsules from here and return them when they are ready to go home." Beyond the shelf was what looked like a repair room, with arcade consoles and various electronics set up around the room. And above it all, an extensive electronic system with many specialized limbs hung from the ceiling.

And above it all, an extensive electronic system with many specialized limbs hung from the ceiling. Whatever she choose to go down with will gladly hold her weight. She's lighter here anyway. Oirdz's steps definitely seem more agile in this condition. The stairway ends down below and puts them on a long, curving sidewalk. They are fight along what seems to be a highway for the public transit systems. Small shuttles rushing along thin rails make a constant, whooshing background noise as Oirds heads down the rather empty sidewalk. "I'm sorry to take you on a longer route but the other way is so crowded." Occii continued when Oirdz stopped. "Even when not volatile, He is not fond of large crowds." --- "Public stuff? I do not understand." When they got into the back room, Solluk look around with interest. "There are a lot of mechanical hulls in this place."

Silver came down the stair pole to join them. She pointed to the arms on the ceiling. "That's the rest of me. I fix stuff back here, sometimes for the arcade or theater or just projects I'm brought. It's also my living quarters. You can stay here or in one of the store rooms we keep spare parts in." she gestured to a corner, which had a hallway leading from it.

I had blamed my discomfort in walking on being unused to my body... I was a little surprised that it wasn't a personal problem, that's all." Rith mumbled, looking slightly embarrassed. --- She laughed. "Not really? You could say I.. grew into it. That up there is closer to what I really look like than this body is." At the end of her sentence she gestured to her gynoid frame. "Anyway, you want to check out the other rooms? Sorry you can't have a proper bedroom, but maybe we can come up with something acceptable."

"Occii-lei, can you call something to pick us up down here?" Occii lei nods, but nothing seems to happen outwardly. Oirdz keeps walking. --- "Oh, that makes sense. My old self looked nothing like this construct, admittedly. I wonder why they build them with so few arms." He nods at her. "I would love to see the other rooms. I do not mind the lack of living space. It isn't like I sleep anymore."

Might be an inferiority complex." She walked through the room and down the hall, opening doors to small storage rooms containing, as she had said, spare parts and tools, along with random odds and ends.

Solluk looked at the parts but had no idea what most of them were for.

"Where are we going?" asked the Xweetok. --- "So, yep. That's the tour, not really much to see. You can hang out back here if you want, or up front. I need to stay near the front while the arcade and theater are still open, so I'll be there."
