"But what happens to them? On my birth planet they get eaten." -- "I said in the colonies, Oirdz. You said earlier they have different laws... is there anywhere around here we can go cliff diving?" The group stared at her blankly. Most looked suddenly very uneasy. "Hey, uh.. Ma'am.. why don't you... go sit back down, huh?" -- "Yes but if you come back here it's still illegal! And, pray, what would ever make you want to leap off of a cliff?" She seemed slightly flustered suddenly. "I just mean we have a lot of predators. I don't eat meat. I just wanted to know if you have any systems established for helping people who weren't made quite right. I know some worlds do that, and I think it's neat." -- "Why wouldn't you want to leap off a cliff? It's fun. And you can just wash the paint off before you return."

I don't know what you think they need help doing, they can get access to medical care but anyone can do that." He didn't sound so comfortable anymore. --- "Why WOULD you? That's how a lot of people decide to off themselves, and falling is not fun. And, it's not paint. It's dye. you can't just wash it out."

Banned for life from the planet? We could resort to paint on the colonies. Occii was constantly monitoring your goo levels, I'm certain he could paint you very quickly."

They can't force people to give stuff out. It's not like it's gonna take an arm and a leg unless that's what you need." --- "I don't need paint, Rith. You get fined. It makes certain technologies not work. Occii is not a rulebreaker and I wouldn't ask him to be."

She shrugged "But I guess we don't need too many. Thinking about it, I don't know anyone with disabilities beyond lost limbs, so I guess that kind of thing doesn't happen to us." --- "I thought it wasn't against the rules on the colonies. What technologies does it affect?" She paused for a moment, then typed on her tablet before showing him the screen. The question written there was "Do Trallyr molt?"

Using color and voice data you can be identified." He glanced at the tablet and laughed. "No."

In a panic she bowed instead, thanked them for the chat, and fled back to her seat on the floor. -- She typed on the tablet again for her questions-a-real-Trallyr-would-already-know-the-answer-to before handing it back to Oirdz. "Do Trallyr regrow feathers? When the Rinamians pester Trallyr for feathers is that feather loss permanent?"

Unlike birds ours don't come out so easy unless they want too. if there's damage they might drop and refresh but maaybe. Some trallyr can't. So... sometimes."

She emitted slight cawing noise as she watched him read it. Silver's attention was caught by the window, and she tried to move closer so as to stare out it.

Oirdz made a scoff at the tablet and handed it back to her. The window showed that they had entered some kind of metal tube which they were flying down. It was dark and nothing could be seen. Then it lightened up a bit and the transport slowed down, jostling it's passengers. It slowly turned and a large door ahead of them opened loudly. Bright light came in as the transport flew out into the air, the glass now above them as it started descending.

The quantity of them and density is far greater here than what glyph saw on the other disc.

Rith took her tablet back, then handed it again to him. "Are your feathers like hair, continuously growing? Do you need to get your feathers cut? Are there fluffy Trallyr?" Silver gasped and turned to Oirdz, her claws unsheathing and she spoke and waved her hands in excited movements. "Can I climb the trees? The trees on Wafflenet aren't strong enough!" Unlike the rest of her body, Silver's claws were white with high clarity, catching the light and reflecting it in rainbows.
