So. I've been wanting to learn coding and/or HTML. I used to know the basics of HTML, but now... almost nothing (except for what I just relearned with the free trial for Code Avengers). I decided I'm going to sign up for Code Avengers. When I tried to sign up, they offered me to gift a 6 month membership to someone. I'd like to offer it here, with a few disclaimers/qualifiers. 1. I am waiting on one more person to possibly get back with me. If she wants it, it's going to her. 2. This was an offer when I tried to sign up on Monday and stopped because I didn't know who to give the offer to. It's possible it won't be offered when I actually sign up. 3. I won't get around to this until Friday night at the earliest, probably Saturday. 4. I'm not sure how I'll decide the winner if there are multiple people who want this. Might be a random drawing, might be first to post, might be best reason (in my eyes. Think "Apples to Apples." Your opinion may differ. ). 5. I asked, and it must be a new subscription. It can't be used to extend a subscription you already have. With all of that said, if you're interested, post here, with the reason you want it, even if the reason is "It sounds fun!"

I should clarify that I'm not here for the 6-month gift membership; I'm more interested in discussing the various options for learning coding skills online. What other learning platforms, both free and paid, have you explored and what were the factors that made you choose Code Avengers over the competition? (I always went for free options because, eh, budget constraints, and am currently enrolled in a web development course on Coursera.)

Hi if possible I'd be interested in it. I'd like to build a website for my small business I'll be starting in 8 months. I'll be selling jewelry and have a fashion line .

So to answer your question, I've been thinking about it, and there are a few reasons I'm going with Code Avenges and decided that I'm willing to pay for it. 1. I really like how interactive it is. They make sure you know the material. It's not just a guide or a reference. 2. If I pay for it, I'm much more likely to follow through, because I feel I'll be losing something if I don't. 3. I'm so blessed to be in a situation where, right now, money isn't a huge concern for me. So if I like something and am in the place to support it, I like to do that.
