So with the windfall I got from Charity Corner, I've decided it's finally about time to start work on the gallery I've been thinking about doing for a while.
I want to do what could broadly be called a gallery of Neopets history. The categories I've come up with so far are:
-Items that feature or reference Neopets staff members.
-Items that feature or reference things happening in the Neopets office.
-Items that are a nod to the players, such as inside jokes/memes/references to player culture.
-Items referencing major events in the history of the site. (Note this doesn't mean plot prizes, since that's waaaaay too broad a category; but more like the items that were given out after the big server overhaul in 2014/2015 that left the site down for a long time.)
-Artists' day off items.
-Items with very old, non-updated art, especially if they include older versions of pet designs or site features.
I've got some of these in my gallery already, and I went through Jellyneo's item database and made a wishlist (which is more of a shopping list really) here.
So what I want to know is: Can anyone think of other categories I might include, or items that I may have missed in the categories I already listed? I'm sure there are some I've missed, especially those referencing site jokes or major events. (And also if anyone happens to have any of the NC items or NP items with unlisted prices and are willing to trade, let me know.)
