Update: Requests are CLOSED. The Bee Paper sketchbook is finished after just merely four requests... but chances are I'll probably do another traditional art request thread in the future!
HEYO I'M BACK AT IT AGAIN
Okay, so here's the deal--I have a bunch of Bee Paper watercolor paper that I kind of don't like for my usual watercolor landscapes and stuff... but it's okay for illustration, I guess? Anyway, need to use it up, and headshots are therapeutic and easy (for me, at least), so I'm taking requests for character headshots!
Subject can be anything -- real person/people, celebrities, OCs, pets, fictional characters, your wonderful mother, etc. Basically anything I can draw in human form. All I need is a good description of what you'd like in the headshot (bonus points for details on hairstyles and expressions. I do need practice on expressions, so make 'em quirky if you want! ). Just drop them here, forget about them, and if I do end up drawing yours, I'll tag you in a future post!
If I have drawn for you before, you are more than welcome to request more, whether it be the same or different subjects! ^.^ It will not be first come, first serve; I'll go at random depending on what I feel like drawing that day. And of course, I'll let you guys know when I've either a) finished the sketchbook, or b) am not doing any further work on requests because of life/work/commitment issues/whatever my excuse may be.
Throwing in an example (featuring older Marinette and Adrien from Miraculous Ladybjerg) so y'all know what I'm offering:
Most likely the finished pieces will be released in batches as part of the same image, since I'm now using DeviantArt as my new image hosting site. XD Hope that's okay!
List O' Requests (to keep track because I am part squirrel):
-Celestial (painting)
-Reiqua (LMAO at this request) (painting)
-Shinko (painting)
-Thorn (painting)

If you don't mind, could you draw one of my OCs, Hector, for me? Here's a ref image of him. It should give you a good idea of his face shape.
More details, well...his eyes are light blue (if you want an idea of the shade of blue, hex code 33C2F2 is a good approximation) and he has freckles. Hair should be as offensively ginger as possible. If your eyes hurt looking at it, you're doing a good job. xD It's wavy and messy as you can see by the ref image, kind of like a big ginger mop. As for expressions, if you can capture the joyful grin of a puppy who wants to be friends with everyone and thinks everything in the world is SO AMAZING in his mug, that would be perfect. x3

Well this request of mine got ignored last time, so I haven't very high hopes, but would still love to see you draw Trump! xP
(He totally counts for a celebrity, right?)
Also that bit where you said you needed practice on tricky facial expressions, I would like to see a benevolent, fatherly expression on his face, please

=3 Hmm, would you mind drawing my character Phyllo? (Name pronounced "Fee-low")
To borrow the description from the story that introduces him, his eyes are "a steely gray, like a silver moon against a midnight sky." He's intended to be very physically attractive, with a broad nose and a jutting, well defined chin. He wears a headband on his forehead to hide an old brand from a misspent youth as a slave (long story) and he has scars all the way around his neck from an old metal slave collar he used to wear. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. In terms of expressions he'd usually have either a gentle, fatherly expression on his face, or a kind of somber thoughtful look.

So Doormat/Ezekiel was a character I played in 'The Town' forum roleplay, which introduced me to the absolute joy of those forum games, so I still have a massive soft spot for that rp and for him. Now, since I don't draw and am not a super visual thinker, my initial description of him was unfortunately really really vague. He's got olive skin (I did picture him on the darker side of olive, however, if that helps!), curly dark brown hair and 'faded' grey eyes, a slight build, and soft features. That last bit is just supposed to demonstrate that he's not super-memorable looking, because none of his features really stand out. :-P
Most of the time I wrote him he was a ghost wearing a long grey coat, but before he was a ghost he liked to wear purple because, to quote my notes, "it is a Very Mystical Colour and he likes mystical things." He also wore purple yoga gear at the very end of the story, but that was only right at the end, it didn't feature very much at all. xD
More fortunately, Huntress drew him one time! The picture sums him up pretty well, anxious but determined to Do Some Good (the book in his arms is his investigative journal, as he was supposed to be looking into the Bad Stuff that had been happening in the Town): second to last picture in this post
As for expressions...he spent most of the storyline either nervous or outright terrified, if I recall. So if you want some practice drawing anxious or scared faces, Ezekiel is your guy. =)
