2016 Games Master Challenge

Razul?! He's dead! He's deader than dead, his cursed soul was obliterated! There were SO many other villains you could have gone with: Dr. Sloth (though he's supposed to be trapped in the Space Faerie Charm, though they could reveal it was yet another Robot Sloth Clone), Commander Garoo, Count Von Roo, Masila, Captain Scarblade, or even Nox's Ghost. Heck, I would more believe Galem survived being stabbed by Kanrik than Razul being resurrected.

Actually how about a group of villains verse a group of heroes? Like after Galem survived his encounter with Kanrik (he's not only a Grarrl but a former guild master of the Thieves Guild, I think we can survive a stab wound), he vowed vengeance on him and all others who call themselves heroes. He had decided to gather villains from all over Neopia to plan their revenge, but don't know how to announce their plans for world conquer. That's when one of their members, Roothless, suggests a Game Master's Challenge against the heroes. Receiving the challenge, AAA quickly gathers heroes to take on Roothless in a GMC where there's more to lose than just a few games.

They could then have hero vs villain pairs:

Kanrik vs. Galem
Hannah vs. Masila
Armin vs. Valin
Gorix vs. Parlax
Cylara vs. Sophix II
Scout vs. Ylana Skyfire
Space Faerie vs. Dr. Sloth (revealed to be Robot Sloth Clone)
Commander Valka vs. Commander Garoo
Garin vs. Captain Scarblade
Jacques vs. Benny the Blade
Isca & Caylis vs. The Drenched
Island Mystic vs. Tura-Kepek
Altador vs. Darkest Faerie
Jazan vs. Razul (with all the dark sorcerers they probably are able to resurrect dead characters. So...)
Jeran vs. Lord Kass
Darigan vs. The Three
Lisha vs. Morguss
Tor vs. Darkest Knight
Roberta vs. Dark Faerie Sisters
Gilly vs. Eliv Thade
Sophie vs. Vira
Bruno vs. Mayor Thumburt
Brynn & Hanso vs. Xandra (the villains could have taken and un-revived her)
Fyora vs. Balthazar
Illusen vs. Werelupe King

I don't feel Jhudora, Nox's Ghost, or Count Von Roo would join the villains, preferring their own plans than working together. Also leaving Defenders off as they kinda feel like their own separate thing.

I chose hero's and a friend of mine chose villains. I would assume many chose villain because it probably sounds cooler to them.

And a lot of people would agree with you, but I mean, a hero he is not. I can't really think of too many heroic deeds on his part, and I can't see him as anything but an outright villain in his introductory plot. He's been softened to being... kind of harmless, I guess, but there are way better picks for heroes.

(For instance, how about Altador, whose entire theme is heroism?)

Fiiine, I'm doing it. Only for the gold check marks and the trophy. I've had Level 5 trophies for the past 4 GMCs and will not stop. D:

I actually ended up on the Villain team for a few reasons.
Because both teams are getting the same hybrid prizes at the same time, anyway.
Because even when I like the heroes, I enjoy antagonising them even more. C: That is also the reason why I never pick the Thieves during the Obelisk Skirmishes - even though I am fond of Kanrik, I prefer to annoy him in the Battledome.
Because even though Razul is not quite the best Neopian villain, he's kind of hilarious in his own over-the-top dark lord way. He's the kind of villain who would have a spot in a HISHE-style Villain Pub skit.
Because I am always more on the villainous side anyway, even when the hero side is married to a character I like and has amazing guyliner.
And because our Hero City villains have really made me want to join up, as I ended up on the hero side of that event. xD (It is my tribute to yoouuu)

(This event is giving me mental images of the Neopian villains bickering to choose their delegate for this silly gaming event.
Or AAA somehow managing to contact them all, one at a time, and casually asking them to compete.
Would this count for the Royalty and Leaders collab theme? xD I bet many more people are getting such ideas, though.)
