This year's theme is Heroes vs. Villans. The characters? King Jazan and Razul, of all Neopets.

Team Evil is too mainstream now. I gotta be true to my hipster urges and choose Jazan, I think.
(At least, I assume so, what with the amount of people that love Darigan and Neopian villains)

If they are going to disregard canon fates, I nominate a more alluring, popular villain. Say Xandra or Kass. Razul's a bit of a Giant Space Flea from Nowhere in the context of the LDP, ahaha.
In fairness Jazan is pretty popular, so it makes sense to use him for your hero if you're going to use anybody. I guess the team just figured Jazan's big baddie was Razul, so they'll use Razul. Alternatively we can imagine AAA just got some gaming buddies together for a D&D cosplay session they got way too invested in.

I love villains, but not so much Razul. Jazan > Razul. But I never pick the good side when given a choice.. this is hard.

I just kinda dove right in for Team Villains. The Lost Desert Plot was the very first plot I participated in when I started Neopets (I joined in the middle of Ice Caves but was too young to realize it), and Razul was freaking awesome to fight as a 6 year old.

It's true. On one hand, Jazan is great. On the other, villains are better overall.
And this should have been Jeran vs Kass or something.

It also looks like team heroes is puzzle games and team evil is action games.
That makes sense, in a lot of ways.
Though it also leans me towards team hero, since some action games don't run on my computer.

I think it would've been fun to have Team Hero and Team Villain both headed up by Jazan - cursed Jazan and regular Jazan. Gosh, that'd make for some fun dialogue!!
(Not saying they should've or would've done that, but just liked the thought xP)
I was gonna choose Team Villain cos it sounded slightly less popular (making the prizes better), but if there's even a slight chance of more puzzle games and fewer action games on Team Hero, I'm in!
