It doesn't really matter too much to me when we get them, but I feel like the earlier date would probably be better because you still get that fuzzy feeling when re-reading them - I often re-read mine from previous years. But if somebody wants theirs on Christmas Day but they're not sent out until January then they won't be able to do that. In other words: fuzzies are still fuzzy on the 1st read or the 50th!  |

I don't really celebrate Christmas, so it's not exactly a fuzzy date for me, but tbh I don't really mind if they're postponed either.

I don't have a strong opinion on when they're due as I could see myself enjoying them no matter the day. If busy schedules get in the way for a number of people, then I have no problem with moving the date.

Hey everyone! I've been thinking about the issue of when the fuzzies should be distributed and Celestial and I have come up with the following plan:
Right now, we would like to keep to our original plans to have the fuzzies distributed on Christmas day. For those of you who want to wait until January for them; we are going to put them all in spoiler tags so that you don't have to read them immediately when you get them. This way, those who want Christmas fuzzies can have them on Christmas and those who want to wait until January do not have to read them right away. This also makes it easier on me and Celestial as we won't have to keep track of who gets their fuzzies when. Does anyone have any issues with this plan?
If any problems arise, we still may need to extend the deadline into January. Hopefully we can make all this work and have Christmas day fuzzies. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation.

June, they're gathering and formatting fuzzies for thirteen people (not counting each other) - that's 156 fuzzies if I'm doing my math correctly. I think spoiling each individual one would add up to a lot of work for them (and most people are going to read in one fell swoop so it would be a lot of uneccesary work). Maybe when you get your PM, zoom the screen way out, highlight and separate them into note/wordpad documents and spread them out that way? |

I wanted to give you all an update on the Warm Fuzzies. As of right now, the deadline for completing and submitting the fuzzies is in 10 days. Now, due to some unforeseen circumstances in real-life, I'm going to have a lot of work to do from now until Christmas. Because of this workload, it may be hard for me to complete my fuzzies on time. I understand that sometimes things don't always go according to plan so I wanted to check in with you all to see how you're coming along on your fuzzies. As I am hosting the event, I think it would be very rude of me to suddenly postpone the fuzzies for a couple of weeks and I am very hesitant to do so. The reason why I'm making this little annoucement is to notify you all that there is a possiblity that the fuzzies could be delayed a week or two. I still plan to keep to the original deadline but I can't guarantee that real life will let me do so. Anyway, I wanted to check and see if anyone else needs more time to write their fuzzies. If you need some more time, let us know here on this thread and we'll see what we can do to help. By the way; if you are completely finished with your fuzzies and are satisfied with them you may send them in at any time now. It would be very helpful if you could sent them in soon as it would give me more time to organize them. Remember: fuzzies written for me are to be sent to Celestial . I mean, I have one written. I've just sort of been on panic mode for school for like a month now, and I've just been ignoring more and more things. And now I have a really terrible cold. But I mean, I'll probably be done by the 19th, so I guess that gives me some time to get the rest done. Probably. I don't know, I'm having trouble thinking right now. It's a pretty bad cold. I think I'll take another nap.

Ah yeah, I should probably do those soon XP School has been keeping me busy as it's been wrapping up, but by Wednesday I should be completely free. I still have faith that I can finish them by the original due date, but if the deadline is extended, that wouldn't be a big deal for me.

Due to an unexpected combination of work and family matters, I have encountered some restraints on my free time. I'm committed to meeting the deadline, of course, but nevertheless I wouldn't sniff at an extension.

*peeks from behind potted plant* Hellooo. I see the deadline for signing up is today. Is it still okay to join now, or too tight? (I've been preparing potential fuzzies but without signing up because I didn't trust myself to finish them, but now I'm pretty sure I can actually do this, and of course it took me until the deadline to figure it out \o/) So I'd like to join if that's ok, and if not, I'll be better prepared next time yay. (and yes I am aware that leaves very little time for everyone to write extra fuzzies for a new participant, and I am totally okay with getting skipped for that reason!)

Liou Joining right now will be tight but since it's still before the deadline, you're fine. As for my own fuzzies, I will try to get them started ASAP but I would not mind an extension, since starting work and moving is eating up a lot of my time. If not, I shall try to get them done this weekend.
