Thorn A stab of pity enters plain old Cassie. That cloak looked unbelievably heavy and the poor traveler surely was not in her right mind. "Don't fret, dear there are quite a few treats left," she coaxes in her best old lady impression, handing Nyx!Thorn a treat that seems to be wrapped in opaque cotton candy. From afar it looked like plain old Cassie was giving her a small cloud. "Do be sure to be indoors when you eat it," she cackles, swiftly and mysteriously shutting the door. "Thank-you?!" Thorn looks at her newest acquisition. She hasn't had cotton candy in years! And the middle looks like...a pink little blob? Probably tasty, anyway. Being a tad superstitious she decides to heed Cassie's advice, putting the treat into her bag before trotting off back the way she came.

FrazePlain Old Cassie glances at the young man, somewhat puzzled by his choice of costume. She looked to where the arrow was pointing, but could see nothing but the dead grass of her plain, brown lawn. "Why, yes, of course!" Cassie laughs, tossing him a...a green plastic eggthat definitely contains candy. She pauses to reflect on this strangeness, but shrugs. "Have a happy Halloween!" Gelquie The ghost opens the candy and finds themselves teleported atop a cliff, where they're free to pose dramatically in the wind! Now how to get back to the houses...Well, ghosts can fly, right? (This will not affect future houses don't worry!) There is a caramel in the ghost's bag that wasn't there before. And it looks delicious. ThornAs soon as Nyxie!Thorn sets foot indoors and opens up the candy, she finds herself being a little...lighter...and lighter...and finds herself...floating! Right up to the ceiling! But, I'm sure the effects will wear off sometime soon. sorry for the rushed quality I'm struggling to do like 3 things at once and am getting called away CONSTANTLY Dx

"Well, I'd probably go with 'cheap' myself, but hey, I guess that just makes it all the more in character," Twillie chuckles, gladly taking the treat offered to her.
She takes a moment to look it over.
"Near water, huh?" She muses, turning it at all angles. "And it's hourglass shaped..." Twillie puts on a knowing smile. "This isn't some kind of pun, is it?"

"Oh, well, this looks much more ordinary than all the other crazy stuff. Maybe I can try to figure out how to explain to my bosses why exactly this dress is in such poor condition," Celestial murmurs, lifting her hand up to knock on the door. Boring did not always mean bad. "Trick or treat? I would prefer the latter. Tea and a biscuit sounds grand right now."
Celestial pauses and covers her eyes with her hand. "I have become such a stereotype living in this country, I swear."

Twillie"Yeah it works pretty well." Cassie chuckles, but swiftly realizes that her laughter made her slightly less boring, so to stay in character, she clears her throat. "Near water, huh?" She muses, turning it at all angles. "And it's hourglass shaped..." Twillie puts on a knowing smile. "This isn't some kind of pun, is it?"Cassie's face darkens in hue for a moment before she regains her composure. "If there was one, I've definitely missed it." She shrugs. ( Celestial) Her slightly tarnished dignity is recovered by a call of "Trick or treat? I would prefer the latter. Tea and a biscuit sounds grand right now."A total cutie. Cassie waves and hands her a biscuit--wait, this isn't the kind of biscuit to go in tea, rather, one to dip in mashed potatoes, then barbecue sauce 1, perhaps add a nugget to it. "Er, there should be something..interesting inside." With that, she leaves Celestial and shuts the door very very quietly. Twillie I have no idea what you're getting at. XD; Also, 1I'm sorry but.... yeah

"Ah," Twillie's expression turned to that of sheepishness, and she put on a shy smile as she tried to explain, "It's just, it's time related, and it has to be opened, or released, near water, just like a certain timebender..." She coughed, and then quickly added, "Thanks for the candy, though!"

Gelquie The ghost opens the candy and finds themselves teleported atop a cliff, where they're free to pose dramatically in the wind! Now how to get back to the houses...Well, ghosts can fly, right? (This will not affect future houses don't worry!) There is a caramel in the ghost's bag that wasn't there before. And it looks delicious. The ghost peers over the cliff and the drop below, taking a gulp. "That's... a long way down..." And unfortunately, this ghost was not, in fact, a ghost that could fly. When it came down to it, they had just thrown a sheet and some fuzzy pink chains over their head and called it a day. Getting down... They could do it, it wouldn't be impossible. But they could feel their heart drop as they looked over the... ...Well, it is a very pretty horizon. If she was careful... She took the opportunity for some landscape pictures, as well as some selfies in the wind. Thankfully, the sheet did well to stave off some of the cold from the wind. But eventually, it was time to get down... They found the caramel in their bag and munched on it to give them energy. Time to go down. Perhaps they could get some good shots on the way down. Then after that, they could go to the next house. (Or collapse on the sofa. That works too.) They began to make their trek down, pondering the unusual house they just visited.

The robot dressed as a pink Thor, realistic rubber skin and all, approached the house.
"The being who defies social rules can be perceived as the most frightening of all. Trick v Treat."

GelquieAs the ghost munches on their caramel, they get a strange sensation throughout their somehow corporeal body, and coincidentally, think of a place they'd like to be. In an instant, there they are. ((This candy gives you the ability to teleport! Woohoo!)) TwillieCassie blushes more as Twillie explains. "Mere coincidence, that's all it is," she assures TWillieTwillie. "Enjoy it!" she gives a small wave and hopes the advice is followed. For the next time she opens it by a body of water, she will find herself carried across it in any direction she sees fit... The Scrac that Smiles BackCassie stops all pretenses of being boring and plain and emotionless and bursts out laughing, right out loud, of the Robot pink Thor. It's not a laugh intended to poke fun, no. It's a laugh that's absolute, undeniable joy. "Your costume's super pretty!" she bursts out. "I've got just the thing for you!" Pink and glittery do not even begin to cover what this wrapper looks like. It's extremely crinkly and is simply dripping bright pink glitter with any motion whatsoever. "You're really going to like THIS candy!" she exclaims, before becoming Plain Old Cassie once more and darting inside.

As if summoned by the previous pinkness, a second pink entity enters the scene. It is not immediately visible, though.
"Hem, hem."
The squat, toad-like woman gives an unpleasant little smile. "Well, for a beginner, the decoration could have been worse," she says in a tone that is meant to sound encouraging. "Let us hope that your license is in order and that your premises are up to standard."
She readjusts her fluffy pink handbag and opens one hand meaningfully.

Liou"You're darn tooting it is," Plain Old Cassie lets a little bit of the locale slip into her lingo, and slips the lady in pink a tiny fluffy pillow...no, wait, it's actually a thick, compact piece of cotton candy wrapped around something else, looking an awful lot like Thorn's candy. "But this one's different," Plain Old Cassie tells UmbridgeLiou with a glint in her eye. "You'd better watch what you say when you eat this." Plain Old Cassie allows herself to cackle.

"Phew!" she breathes out. ...Then realizes that oops, she really did want to see the sights. ...Well, all the more reason to teleport! The ghost begins teleporting across the countryside, taking in all the sights with a smile.

Umbridge slips the little cotton candy pillow into her handbag - where it is so well-camouflaged that it nearly disappears -, and smiles sweetly. "We will see about that. You will receive the results of your inspection in ten days' time."
She takes a few steps away from the house before pausing, still within earshot, to scribble on her clipboard. "Seems... to enjoy... threatening... visitors."
After a bit of rummaging, she fishes the cotton candy pillow out of her handbag, casts a charm that reveals nothing, and takes a cautious bite, already wrinkling her nose.

LiouPlain Old Cassie frowns. Inspection? This can't be good. "Say what now? I didn't threaten you, it was only a cautionary piece of advice--which I've given everyone else about their candies, by the way--" But Plain Old Cassie stops talking after she sees Umbridge grow plenty of pink fur, enough to hide her body, and bend over, leaning on four newly-grown hooves. The scowl on the pony's face is by no means reminiscent of Fluffle Puff, but at the very least, she looks unbearably fluffy to the point Plain Old Cassie has to restrain herself from burying her face in all that fur. "I did warn you," she said timidly. "But it should wear off soon." Plain Old Cassie gives Umbridge a friendly wave. ((tagging downrightdude and The Scrac that Smiles Back cause I don't want you to miss your candy's effects! I can't very well powerplay your characters!))

Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff)The robot looked down at the candy, and plopped the whole thing into its organic materials identification chamber. It spat the wrapper out and moved that to the incineration chamber. " My disguise fooled the human, this is positive result for my experiment."
