Whenever you're facing a problem, or interacting with people who have problems, you're either that guy or that girl. I'm definitely the girl!

LMAO this was pretty amusing, especially since I can relate to both sides. XD And those times when your nail/problem is clearly identifiable even for you but you're just like, "NO I JUST WANT TO COMPLAIN, STOP TRYING TO CHANGE MEEEEE" XD

Hah, I'm definitely the girl as well! XD
But actually, what I've learned about myself from having both kinds of friends is that I can actually be really receptive to the "you have a nail" part, as long as it comes AFTER the "sorry, that sounds so hard" part. I mean, thank you for trying to help me, but please validate my feelings first, because if you go RIGHT TO THE NAIL, that feels dismissive, and I will NOT listen to you, no matter how sound your advice is. XD;;

Just because you know what the problem is, you know there's a nail, that doesn't mean it's easy to get out of the problem, it's easy to get rid of the nail. If you could get out of having a nail just by knowing it's there, then you wouldn't need to complain about it, would you? You'd just be done with it. It's like, well, you feel bad because of this obvious thing. Yeah, that's obvious to me too. Just because the problem is obvious doesn't mean it's easy to fix, or that it's not worth complaining about.

I can't help it. I'm so much the guy in this scenario. IT'S LIKE RIGHT THERE, OKAY, IT'S LITERALLY RIGHT THERE xD
