My account was just hit while I was finishing my dailies. ;-; I'm freaking out right now and I don't know what to do.
How do I report this? Should I self-freeze?

If you can, log in again and change your pw quickly.
If they've already changed your pw then just report as normal, I guess...

I already did that, and I was able to kick the bot, but they still got some stuff. I'm not sure what exactly they took, but I know they removed everything out of my trades, gallery, Neodeck, my petpets (RIP Spark's timer. ;-; ) and a quarter of my bank. Some of it I was able to shove into my SDB -- notably, my petpets, and the one item in my gallery that wasn't junk.
Working on a report right now. We'll see what happens, I guess.
Honestly, the thing I'm most upset about is losing the time on my petpets. I can get everything else back, but the timers...
Edit: Sent. I'll update it as I figure out where things are (or aren't). So far it looks like everything was just moved to my SDB, except for the NP.
Currently saving all of my lookup codes and other things I might need just in case.
Edit 2: I just realized that I was not logged off during this. I logged off to log back in a kick them, but I was never kicked. I'm not sure what to make of that...

That's what I was thinking, but I haven't really played since the end of August. My last user shop purchase was over a week ago. It was a from a very safe-looking user and it isn't a very commonly sought item. Oh well. :/ After looking through mostly everything, I don't think anything actually left my account. The NP that went missing was used to buy something from the Hidden Tower, which was moved to my SDB. All of the "rares" I can remember having are still in my SDB. Only real casualties are the petpet timers. They also cleared my PIN, but that was going to be changed anyway. Still going to wait for some sort of response from TNT to move anything, though. I'm just really, really glad that this didn't happen five minutes later... |
