here be doodles! most of them are fingerdoodles from my sketch app, with the occasional pencil drawing or something drawn on my tablet, when it works. enjoy, and feel free to point out any objects of critique you notice; i'm always looking to improve!

Personally, my fave is Peridot (it's hard for me not to love her), but Lapis is a great character. However, I cannot draw any gem. Or humans in general. X3 Though I'm getting better.

yessss, the ridiculous gremlin child is a thing of beauty! (and oh man i hear that, most of my humanoid figures/faces are luck of the draw at best even with all the work i've been putting into improving them. XD

Green Dorito sure won me over. XD Her quirky personality won it for me. (Fun fact, we got a Steven Universe fanclub here.)
That is me. With all my work, it still comes down to luck for anything humanoid. And hands... Oh boy, the hands...

oooooooh, i'll have to check that out! and oh my yeezy, tell me about it; referencing from photos/real life is fun-- here's a watercolor sketch i referenced from a photo one time and that i'm still really proud of--but when it comes to actually breaking down the anatomy there's just so many little details about hands that i always manage to get wrong somehow. (which is still really entertaining to me, in a garry's-mod-gone-wrong kind of way. XD) practicing a lot has definitely helped, though; i'm sure it'll take you a long way toward drawing all the hands you want!
