Ten years

Ten years ago, a twelve-year-old PFA was ecstatic over getting her big series, Her Spirit's Eyes, into the Neopian Times. But, still a few months out from 13, she wasn't able to get feedback via Neomail because of age restrictions. Undeterred, she went on a mad search for NT-related websites to see if anyone had talked about her story.

Lo and behold, she stumbled upon the NTWF—where, surprisingly enough, someone actually HAD reviewed her story by complete happenstance. She was ecstatic, and immediately started perusing this cool new website. However, being the aforementioned few months away from 13, she couldn't create an account... and instead decided to post as a guest. (PSA, you're not supposed to do that either, but oh well. )

Anyway, long story short, that first guest post was ten years ago on August 13th (today, as of a few minutes ago), which means I'm now officially an Ancient Fogey. Get off my lawn, ya dang kids *shakes cane*

But anyway, it's been a wild ride. People have come and gone, there have been hard times as well as good times... but all in all, the NTWF has always been here for me. I've met a ton of awesome people here, and I've grown so much as a person—in all honesty, that my life would not be the same without the NTWF. So thank you all for ten years, and here's to many more. <3
