Thanks!  Didn't really do much on my Birthday. Last night my family ordered pizza as no one felt like cooking so decided to use my Birthday as an excuse to order.  But we did make a cake today, and this upcoming Passover (22nd) we'll probably have another cake with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandma. Though they did call to wish me a happy Birthday. Got the Birthday sidebar on Neopets (and at the moment still do) though the only Random Events I got was ones that did nothing. I suppose better than bad Random Events, but wouldn't mind Jacko giving me a visit... And I quickly played my Y and Alpha Sapphire version to get wished happy Birthday and hear the Birthday version of the Pokemon Center theme. |

Wow! Did not know a birthday version of this theme existed.  Sounds very much like a lullaby. XD Happy birthday, man! ^.^ Happy that stuff in your life is slowly starting to resolve themselves, and here's hoping more good fortune comes your way!  Also, pizza AND cake on your birthday? Man, I never had that sort of treatment back in my childhood. ~.~ Will have to bump up the food requests accordingly, LOL! |

Glad I didn't need to work on my Birthday, that said I have work tonight in a few hours (spent the last few hours sleeping so I'm awake). Hoping I could play the Daily Dare game before leaving. Anyway, we got the idea to order pizza as we got a flier for a pizzeria & restaurant which had a special offer for a 18 inch pizza for $15 (and we also got a free 2 liter Sprite, that was nice of them). Otherwise we would have gotten Chinese Food, but since we have a Chinese restaurant down the street (well, 2, but one is better than the other) and no nearby pizzeria (we had two, but both closed) we decided pizza was a better treat. As for the cake, we keep cake mixes as when we go out to the family we usually make a cake (among other things depending on the occasion) and they're often on sale for $1.50 or cheaper. We also make them for our Birthdays. |

Yoooo, those BOGO cake/brownie mix sales are evil, though. It's like they want me to bake both and then consume it all in one day. I AIN'T FALLING FOR THAT TRAP, PUBLIX! |

I already played against Abigail on the first day (admittedly I could have tried harder but whatever, can't undo it and don't got to worry about keeping an AAA streak) so if I need to challenge Abigail I'll do it. Will try as long as I can of course. Well when I say Chinese Food I mean the Americanized version of it, but I'd be lying if I say I didn't like it. The pizza was alright, not the best but when your other option is no pizza I think acceptable is perfectly fine. I think the cake we made was Betty Crocker or Pillsbury. |
