I've just been duped by another user on the Trading Post. He offered a negg and said that it would include 4 Baby PB so I offered 2 mil. He accepted the offer and replied me with: we had a deal for the Negg only.
Username: ruckster411 I am SO angry. Guys, please don't fall for his dishonest trades.
He's also trying to take it further by telling me to offer more for ONE baby PB before he gives the the rest. Clearly, he is trying to dupe me even more of my Neopoints. The audacity of that dimwitted and despicable user.

Sorry that happened :c Some people are really scummy. I can't believe people are still pulling crap like that like it's 2002.
Thanks for the warning re. the person's identity, but be careful posting UNs. We may be offsite, but we're still an affiliated fansite and we know from the latest BC rules that TNT do pay attention to what people say on offsite Neopets forums :x

While that user should be reported and frozen for pulling such a scam, I also have to say that was kind of an obvious scam. Why did you believe him? If the PBs weren't in the lot than you shouldn't have offered, you should have told them create a new lot with the PBs than you'd offer. Hopefully TNT returns your NP and freeze the guy, you did report him right?

Oops! Should I remove the UN? But I do want people to know his UN so that they're aware of who I'm talking though...
Also, I do realise my naivety in this matter. I've actually done other trades like this before and the previous users were all trustworthy so I kinda got used to it. I didn't expect a scammer to appear. For an account that's only 3 months old, I'm surprised that he has a lot of UBs. He keeps putting them up and then cancelling the trades.
I've reported him but I think my neopoints won't be given back to me. However, I just want his account to be frozen as I know that he's already duped another user as well, although much less than mine.

If it's a young account with lot of UBs it's a buffer account they know will be shut down eventually. The money is rarely followed, keeping their real account safe.
