They forgot about "moving to Russia so he can go through the 30k emails he asked for."

I have concluded that Trump is a bottomless pit. He can always find a way to sink lower. Any lower and he'll sink through the earth and end up in Siberia on the other side. He can get his buddy Putin to save him.
He doesn't seem to respect our country so it's for the best I think.

Well...I think no matter who you pick or don't pick, support or don't support, or try to make heads or tails of which is the lesser of two evils, I think this comic says it all.

Who told him the best way to win over Republicans would be to argue with and insult the parents of a fallen US soldier? It's still mind-boggling me to me that he's made it this far. Hopefully some of the Republicans who have spoken out against him will take a long, hard look at how to shape up their party's platform and appeal so that this doesn't happen again in 4 or 8 etc years. Hillary's post-convention bump was higher than Trump's so she has that going for her at least.

Just a warning: This does have one mild expletive. It's from The Simpsons.

Many high profile Republicans are starting to turn away from Trump in the wake of the Khan incident, the baby incident, and his comments on the Purple Heart. Like I said earlier, hopefully this is giving the GOP officials some semblance of how they need to move forward as a party. If you go with the guy who gets popular because of how crazy he is, you're eventually going to have to deal with the craziness being attributed to you. Which can have lasting repercussions.
Trump's comments about Obama 'maybe being the worst president in history' are laughable.
Sidenote, does anyone else realize how Trump uses words like 'maybe' and 'probably' at weird times?

If the apocalypse of our democracy somehow becomes victorious, the inauguration would sure be awkward. Obama has to ride in a car with the crazy guy. It's the last thing he needs when he's looking forward to stepping down.
I know it'll be the least of America's worries then.
Let's make sure that doesn't happen.

I normally never post on these kinds of threads, but I came across a very interesting (if not completely terrifying) article on Trump. It's worth a read, methinks, if nothing else but to see a very well-researched perspective on his rise to power. www.vox.com/2016/3/1/11127424/trump-authoritarianism

He's in political trouble because it's bigoted and Islamophobic to invoke the stereotype of "MUSLIMS HATE WOMEN!!!" especially in the wider context of it being said by a guy who wants to ban them from entering the country. (Yet this article tries to frame it as "oh he's trying to score a feminist point." This statement is bull-dung.) a If Khizr Khan was not the father of a gold-star family, this sort of comment would have actually gone unnoticed by mainstream media, but the fact that he IS part of a gold-star family helped put the spotlight on Trump's xenophobia. Is there a problem with this? Sure, it suggests that Muslims have to "prove" themselves to be patriotic when no other group is asked the same--which is pretty bad (but it is better than the complete intolerance Trumpbots push.) There's plenty of Unfortunately, the author completely misses the context of Islamophobia and asks the stupid question: "WHY IS KHIZR KHAN MAD AT TRUMP? HUH? WHY IS HE POSSIBLY MAD AT TRUMP??? THE IRAQ WAR!!! COGNITIVE DISSONANCE!!! KILLARY!!!" Khizr Khan's speech was not about the war or blaming Trump for the death of his son. The speech's intent was to show that Muslims are Americans who have died for this country too--not faceless brown terrorists. It was about Trump's bigotry--and more importantly the strength of Trump's xenophobia. He went through the social faux pas of insulting a gold star family just to make a lazy stereotype. Of course, it's preposterous that the point "MUSLIMS ARE ALSO AMERICANS" must be made too, and must be made so extremely, and the controversy surrounding it has in a tacit way revealed the way Muslim Americans are all viewed as suspect and must prove that they are patriotic. However, the author misses the entire point and goes on a completely unrelated tangent about militarism. Which is an issue--but an unrelated one to this controversy and frankly one that is done in incredibly poor taste here.

I guess what the author's also trying to say is that consequences come even years after a decision is made. It says Hillary voted for war...
Well, at the very least let's let this be a lesson to us all to weigh our choices carefully. Even if they're both terrible.

The American Military Industrial Complex and its perpertuation of war in the Middle East contributes to the American stigma against Muslims, one that Trump harbors and is shared with many of America's populace as evidenced by his following. And the Military Industrial Complex and the leaders advocating war finds its voice with the mainstream media. Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, take your pick.

The actor that spoke to an empty chair at a previous RNC is now telling us to get over Trump's racism. He and Trump are two peas in a pod. I can't link what he said because he used lots of profanity.
If you want to go look this up, look for Clint Eastwood.
