You're a kid now. You're a squid now. This topic was so popular, it gets its own thread now! So squids... what's your favourite weapon/map/hat/mode/NPC/ink colour? :D Inklings: - Killix - Komori A bar of pink soap is lying on the floor. The letter "A" is scratched in deeper than usual. Ugh, it's rude to scrape at someone's soap! The other supplies are nowhere in sight, but a trail of water headed towards the Square catches your attention. Several theme ballots are littered around, soaked in water.

Count me in(kling)! I want to like other weapons, but I keep going back to the roller. X3 Putting down huge swathes of ink is more satisfying than splatting other players. Also! Seems Art vs Science is the next Splatfest.

(If octolings are ever playable, I'm moving my name to a new list. lolz ;D)
I've signed up for team Art. Gonna paint my way to victory with the inkbrush in the name of justice.
In no specific order, my weapons of choice are: Splattershot Jr., Octoshot Replica, Inkbrush, Octobrush, Inkbrush Nouveau, L3 Nozzlenose, Kelp Splatterscope, Dynamo Roller, Slosher.
I like a lot of different weapons. XD Chargers are something I never expected to be able to use well. There's something really satisfying about lining up that reticle and BLAM, splatting an enemy 50 feet away.
The Dynamo roller is also satisfying. Just... flinging that huge mass of ink everywhere. splash splash splash
My favourite sub weapon is a tie between the Sprinkler and the Disruptor, and my favourite special is a tie between the Killer Wail and Bubbler. CAN'T WAIT for the Tri-Slosher and its glorious Disruptor/Bubbler combo.

Team Art won in both categories, wewt!
I thought the disconnection issues during Splatfest were bad, but now I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my internet... Starting yesterday, every single match I play I cannot finish without a disconnect. ._. and I tried about 10+ matches. Disconnected from all of them with severe lag, then "the connection is unstable" and finally "connection lost"

I used to have unstable Splatoon matches until I started using one of those, and haven't had a problem since. (They're like $8 on Amazon. Just a 3rd party ethernet-to-USB adapter is just fine)

I don't think a wired connection will do much either way, because the issue is most definitely with my router in general. It appears to be overheating, then it crashes, and every device it's connected to loses internet. (Also, I can't shop online, so yeaah) It all seems to be working fine today, though, which is good. I played lots of matches with no issues. The milder temperature's probably helping.
