The newest Stitcher tried to join the crowd, wanting to see what they were seeing. The figure floating outside the window wasn't moving. Questions filled the barely formed mind. --- They thanked the worker and took their leave. Those who had fled into the prison systems had already left. They calmed down after a while. The higher pirates walked down an adjacent hall, speaking eagerly. --- (Since there's no action here I can help respond if they're doing something with the krakkuriks minds) The youngest Stitcher went in search of food, resisting the urge to eat those around them because no one else was doing it. The older young Stitchers were filled with anxiety when they could no longer hear their parent Stitcher. But soon other voices could be heard to them- comforting voices that filled them with knowledge and instruction. They explored the ship, reporting to the voices what they saw. --- ((Just doing experiments and studying them, mostly actions too tedious to rp. Would there be anything interesting for them to note down? Also, due to the ages they would compare the genetic material to see if these were all siblings)) Amid the bustle someone thought to notify the prison that they were tracking the pirate ship. An inquiry was made as to proper actions that should be taken, along with a countdown of when Ira's sleep pod would run out of power.

Down one hall they find room after room of sleeping chambers. Far more than seems to be needed for the people on the ship. Down the other hall, there's a main corridor, and form the sound of it discussion of occurring behind a rather grand looking door. --- The systems were a mess. It seemed no krakkurik decided it would be a good idea to have a single control system for the ship. That, or it was meant to be some form of guard against tolvanites. For example, on rinamian could try and effect the right thruster and the security footage, while another a left thruster and the intercomm. Krakkurikkian technology is not very refined.

However, those at the main controls were adjusting for it as best as they could, confused. Not knowing what else to do, the young Stitcher tried to chirp at the Krakkurik. The voices in its head didn't know what had been said either. The noise that emerged was weird, and it startled the youngling. They touched their throat, which was healing nicely but still hurt a little. They then offered the question asker some of the food. --- The Rinamians in the systems kept looking, and the Stitchers by the doors kept listening. Even if they couldn't understand, the voices insisted they would listen and try to uncover the meaning. --- The Rinamians on the other side decided to haul it, pushing with full thrust back the way the ship had come from. --- In Taco City, a hunt for Kraicco began in earnest.

The Pirate Krakkurik gave the stitcher a look, made a clearly rude comment and left, but not before taking the food offered. --- Inside the room, the three higher pirates seen before were talking to a pair of pirates that in outfit alone seemed to be the highest of rank if more spikes equated more rank. The pair seemed pleased at the news, but they all looked shocked when the ship lurched. A plate was thrown at a pilot somewhere. In a panic, the crew attempted to shut down the ship's outer engines. --- Kraicco could be found with Aiig, trying to get him to laugh at a joke.

They could not, and instead busied themselves with sabotaging the ship in other ways, making everything go wrong within their power. An inquiry was sent back to the prison, stating an attack on the pirate ship would result in mass casualties, and brought up the age of the attackers slain aboard the deck of the prison. They asked for permission to proceed. --- "Pirates." replied the wary Rinamian. "They attacked a group of Rinamians and Trallyr, killing many, and stole the prisoner they had been guarding. I can give you the words we need you to translate."

The reply was a such that as long as the prisoner was returned, they didn't care about casualties of a pirate ship. When they asked of the ages the most reply they got was "Well of course they'd be that age". They were told to proceed. On the ship, Ira felt an initial pang of consciousness. --- "Oh Gosh! Which pirates? There's so MANY. You want me to translate? I hope they speak the same dialect..."

This made those safe in the main room very upset. Ira slowly came into consciousness. Her first sensation for a while was... hunger. --- Kraicco listened. "Sounds like They want a hostage swap. The airlocks closed and the Stitchers unstrapped themselves. They were now told to infect find the rest of the crew, and infect them quietly. They split up and began to lurk the hallways, lying in wait for individuals or small groups to come their way. --- "Interesting, thank you," the Rinamian replied. "Less important, but what does this mean?" They recited what the pirate had asked the youngest Stitcher in the mess hall. A message was sent to the prison, saying the pirates had apparently wanted to do a swap for a prisoner.
