Chile gasped and stared. "Really? You're really good at hiding it. I can't even tell what you might be! Muse, come over here!" Muse sauntered over to the group. "What is it, hermanita?" "She's a shifter too!" She grinned and presented her teeth to the both of them. "Thank you! I think this is the closest I can get it...it isn't the most comfortable, but I stay like this for when we're in the city. Which creature are you close to?" "Desert rattlesnake" replied Chile, gesturing to her 'tattoos'. "What about you? Many creatures have sharp teeth." She leaned in to examine Flanngo's. |

Their eyes went wide and Chile gasped. "OhmygoshohmygoshforrealsaTIGERthatisAMAZING!" she exclaimed. She clapped her hands together, presenting them both with an even wider smile. "It's always lovely meeting other shifters, isn't it? Ohh that must mean...you're not from around here yes?" Chile shook her head, grinning. "Neither are you. I'm from Mexico. Once I escaped my captors I ran into this schmuck," she gestured to Muse, "and stayed with his family for awhile. But his parents didn't like tattoos, gays, Mexicans, trans, or Gifteds so we had to leave. Rough journey after that. Met Min and Cochin and Michael, then later Tekanni." she leaned in and whispered "I think Michael pretends to be a Gifted. Never seen him do anything." |

Chile backed away, frowning. "You are scared." Michael put the pie in the oven and cleaned up, taking off the rubber gloves and putting his work gloves back on. He approached the group. "Say, anyone want to explore the stage?" Flanngo gave Art a light whack, her version of a small chide at him. "Be nice...we'd all love to see the stage, please!" Michael led the way. They got to the stage and Michael began showing off the hidden doors all over the stage, Chile forgetting Artemis' behavior and eagerly joining in. "Anyone want to go down?" Artemis stayed a bit back, but Flanngo jumped eagerly towards them. "You all make it look effortless! Like magic!" She said. Then she leaned down to inspect the door's hatch. "But I wouldn't be too surprised if you actually used magic for some parts of it. Yes?" Chile shook her head. "Gifteds are afraid to and the humans feel like it's cheating.... but I think sometimes Tekanni uses her ability in her act." Tekanni laughed. "A magician never reveals their secrets." "I think," Chile responded, gesturing to their visitors "sometimes you do." |
