Chiller put a hand on his shoulder. "Hello, third eye. Why does the other Artemis need stopped? If you've been paying any attention you would know people from different dimensions meeting is NORMAL here, so stop freaking out! --- Tuce took them to the edge of the forest, where Silver met with them. Silver looked up at her charges as Tuce stepped away. "I will return to the facility and search for a way to send you home." Silver pointed to Ivy. "What's your ability?" He growled, looking to her hand then following it up with a glare to her face. "........" --- Ivy gave a light smile while she inspected Silver with glances. "Is that important here? ......blood. If you want to know the short form of it." "I don't know if you remember me from that awful island maze of death, but that is why I am willing to listen to you. If you give me a good enough reason I could help you." --- "It's important because my ability is to absorb energy and redirect it to supercharge the abilities of others. If you don't want to tell me exactly what you can do that is fine, but Ash will remain the only person I'm willing to power in this situation. Yes, I'm a talking rock. No, even for my species it's not a normal thing." She started walking into the woods."I've broken the connection between Artemis and the thing that is taking him over before by draining power from him, but I have to be careful." |

He growled, looking to her hand then following it up with a glare to her face. "........" --- Ivy gave a light smile while she inspected Silver with glances. "Is that important here? ......blood. If you want to know the short form of it." "I don't know if you remember me from that awful island maze of death, but that is why I am willing to listen to you. The gesture was odd - he swirled his tongue and clacked his teeth with the unfamiliar contraption - but instead of words he mustered another sound like a guttural huff. He pushed himself up to stand now. --- "Draining won't help with my ability. It's more...passive." She commented as they walked. "Are you going to head back? I thought we all left for safety's sake." "Is there any way you could try to talk to me? Artemis doesn't want to do this, but he doesn't want to talk to you either. He let you take control so we could talk." --- "If he finds us I want a plan B." Silver shrugged and kept walking. "Tekanni will patrol the woods between us and the city. Tekanni?" He then looked down at himself and carefully....did the closest gesture he could to mimic a shrug. It was more like a shudder. --- Artemis practically fell over in a flurry of fluffed up feathers when Tekanni had appeared. Ash jumped briefly too, but after his initial reaction he quickly went over to smooth Art's wings. Ivy didn't react beyond a smile. "Hello. You'll be our protection patrol? And you think you're up for it?" |
