Ash and Ivy shook their heads, but Artemis peeled off his right glove and offered his palm. "I can carry it back if you want." "Thank you, Artemis!" She scooped up the beetle and quickly deposited it into his hand. "There we go. Now, the facility is back in the abandoned district, but the beasts aren't too hard to avoid." "The beasts don't come into the city...yes?" Ash asked. As they walked, Artemis brought his hand up to inspect the beetle better. He gave it a small smile. |

"I am headed to the research facility with another Ash and Artemis, Artemis needs his arm repaired. Chiller is with us." The steel heated slightly, but Artemis showed no discomfort in holding the beetle. They followed Tuce. --- After the (other) Artemis and Ash heard the message, Ash immediately hooked a hand around Artemis to stop the inevitable lunge. |

Tuce led the way to the research facility. She took them inside and showed Ash what equipment they had available and found a container for the bug. Artemis sat beside Ash and waited while he looked the equipment over. "Thank you. I can make do with this." Ash said. " It won't be a perfect fix but it'll smooth the dents enough." |

They sat in quiet except for Ash's instruction every now and then for Artemis to move something. He'd taken off the glove and rolled up the sleeves, and was now prodding somewhere inside after Artemis had opened the functioning panels with a hiss. While Ash worked, Artemis looked around and eventually settled his eyes to Chiller. "Are you looking for something?" |

If Ash says there should be more than one of you, will you believe him?" Artemis shrugged, and Ash quickly put a hand on Art's shoulder to keep it still. "Miss Chiller, I've said that I've understood the theory." Ash started. "But the odds of it being visibly proven are tough...and I think it is even less likely that we will see it in action - not that I particularly even want to." |
