Achievement Unlocked - a thread for gamers

Okay, so "achievements" are still a relatively new thing and I think they're superfluous (at least in modern games), but I'm sure we all have good feelings about accomplishing cool things in old and new games. I'll start with one of mine from years ago.

In Majora's Mask (on the N64), I used the last time loop re-defeating the bosses (to help the four regions) and doing every sidequest to help people, including the Anju and Kafei quest, and THEN I fought Majora. Basically I fixed everything that went wrong in Termina in one time loop. I'm still proud of it =)

I decided to self-imposed challenge myself and fought the final boss in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as Lv 1 Donald with his joke weapon and the Critical ring (1HP).

After a few attempts, I finally managed to be winner. :'D

In FTL, there's an achievement to get a ship to Sector 5 without firing a shot. My challenge to myself was to keep being a pacifist and not firing a shot all the way to Sector 8. I managed to make it all the way to the final boss without ever firing upon a ship. I didn't even fight back against the final boss. (Which was how my ship was eventually destroyed.)

You know, I remember in Pokemon Black version where I leveled up my Pokemon for the first time since Gen I. And, unlike Gen I, I did it WITHOUT cheating devices - it felt amazing that I've finally become what I consider to be a master. Then I got to reset their EVs in X version and EV train them to perfection, and I felt even greater =P

I've been trying to beat the final boss of Cave Story for an embarrassingly long time. And today I managed to get to his third form, which is the farthest I've ever gotten!

I don't usually get to 100% complete games so I'm pretty pleased. Also Gusty Rapids was way harder than it needed to be. XD
