I like my coffee, I need my coffee, I... hey, give that back! *tries to snatch it back off him, but the headline of the paper he is waving about catches her eye* Err...o kay. *reading the headlines* Alyssa, have you seen this? *scans the front page* Oh my goodness! Murder, here at the NTWF? This is such a calm, death-free, completely rational place! How could there have been a murder? Maybe we should go talk to some people, see what's going on. I-I would feel safer out in the open, in a bigger group. Perhaps. Safety in numbers, and all that! Especially with these rumours of arson and a mafia of some kind lurking about... *to Theodore* we couldn't possibly have picked a better time to wash up here, could we? Oh, goodness no! I think she was in some kind of B-movie one time! Titanic in Space or some such nonsense! As a woman with a weak constitution who only wishes to get married and serve a darling hero, I just couldn't handle all of that. Besides, as if there wasn't room on that piece of space debris for two people. But instead she watched him fall into the sun. It was tragic! Ahh, Mr. Mathis. *casually takes an iPhone picture* You were acquainted with Ms. Ou? ... you know, it would sell a lot of papers-- *coughs* Ahem, sorry. As I was saying, if you could give the Journal an exclusive interview about the deceased, that would be such a lovely tribute to her. It would... really help elevate your popularity and virtuous reputation even more, to be so caring. How about it? Oh, of course!! Anything for fame to help remember a poor young girl, akin to myself! I myself was not acquainted with her, being an incredibly talented and upstanding performer who would never stoop to a B-movie. But nonetheless, I did briefly chat with a young TV star who was aware of her. He insisted her name was Brenda and he'd had a fling with her, no less! You didn't hear it from me but I think she was obsessed with him! All women are, apparently. How delightful!! |

If there really IS organized crime in the area—which knowing this world, would not be a terrible surprise—they aren't going to take well into people poking around. Don't go anywhere abandoned, it's a bad idea. *Glances at Jayeee briefly with a frown of disapproval* This is no second-rate movie with cheap thrills. The danger is real. |

It really was probably the goat. GREAT IDEA, SOMETHING QUIETI don't think Liou and I knew each other that well, but we were cohorts in an acting gig a month or so ago--or at least I think it was acting?--so I'm sad to see Liou gone.
