Violent Murder Shocks and Horrifies Forum Li Ou Was Found Slain in Off Topic
OFF TOPIC-- Horror today gripped the forum as forumer Liou, of 1202 Glitter Lane, Off Topic, was found murdered in front of her house this morning by her maid, Laurie. Ms. Ou's death was quickly determined a homicide, although the Mods are remaining mum on the cause. However, the brutal death quickly transformed the quiet street into a crime scene, with yellow tape blocking off access to the public and reporters both. Ms. Ou's violent death is a shocking turn of events after a period of record peace in the forum. It also draws to a head once more questions over whether the Sunday morning fire at Stalbucks' Admin Alley location was or was not deliberately set; the cause still remains officially listed as undetermined. "We have no reason to think the fire and Ms. Ou's demise are related," said Tiger, the Mods beleaguered public relations coordinator. "Nor, at this time, do we have any evidence suggesting that the public has anything to fear. Ms. Ou's death is certainly tragic, but at this time seems to be an isolated incident. We beseech the forum not to panic." Ms. Tiger, while refusing to comment on questions that she and her fellow Mods might be involved in some sort of cover-up related to the recent shadowy dealings of forum admin Carrie, who has not been seen in public in days, suggested that anyone with information about the death can lodge an anonymous tip at a special line that has been set up, at 555-0091. A candlelight vigil will be head in honour of Ms. Ou's life outside Stalbucks Neo General, at sundown this evening. All are welcome to attend. --Rhya Terr, staff reporter

Is a candlelight vigil really a smart idea? I mean... Little flames... Can turn into giant flames that burn down the forum.

One would hope that someone has the foresight to bring a fire extinguisher and a hose if they think fire will be a problem. Besides, Draco… candles are a traditional representation of Light and hope.
It only makes sense.

Why, I am absolutely appalled at this sudden turn of events!
Little ol' me was just taking a leisurely stroll to pick up my morning paper and this is what I find. As a naive young maiden with good morals and a healthy appetite for heroes, I can't even begin to express my displeasure.
Where's that incredibly handsome and studly go-getter from yesterday? I bet he could fix all of this in a jiffy. He was so dreamy! <3

(more or less continued from what she was doing yesterday, as Certain Thorns waited too long to post a reply in the day one thread and then it closed). The Zombie Pirate Queen: Theodore, stop it. I like my coffee, I need my coffee, I... hey, give that back! *tries to snatch it back off him, but the headline of the paper he is waving about catches her eye* Err...o kay. *reading the headlines* Alyssa, have you seen this?

It only makes sense. Light I get, hope? What hope? Hope we don't end up next? Hope the fire doesn't spread? Hope I get a chimichanga? Hope I remember to wear pants?!

Oh, 'Woo no! How is she just gone like that?
I still have her adorable pet goat, too... and that poor goat isn't going to ever see his owner again, and he won't know why! D :
That makes me really sad. He's a handful, certainly, but that's all I have of her now...
Speaking of pets, Tulip and Sugar disappeared yesterday and I'm worried something has happened to them. I very rarely loose pets. Especially with all of this going on, I'm worried for them.
Tulip is a bunny and totally sweet sparkly pink puffball, and the other, you wouldn't have seen her since she is invisible, but she's a totally cute Cavalier pooch. Please let me know if you've seen them!

Wasn't she the one with the demon goat? Wait... I did meet her. She was that person asking for a miracle. And I offered her apple juice! THAT'S SO MESSED UPOne would hope that someone has the foresight to bring a fire extinguisher and a hose if they think fire will be a problem. Besides, Draco… candles are a traditional representation of Light and hope. It only makes sense. Light I get, hope? What hope? Hope we don't end up next? Hope the fire doesn't spread? Hope I get a chimichanga? Hope I remember to wear pants?! Yes, hope. Fire represents hope probably because it kept people back in the days with no electricity from dying from the cold. Now I want a chimichanga.

Robert: *lowers ears* Oh gosh, no. This is awful. It is times like this that we must find solace in the guiding light of our Feathered Lord. *holds out a leaflet in his mouth*

Hi, everyone. Rhya Terra, from the NTWF Journal? Was anyone here acquainted with Ms. Ou? I'm writing a story about her tragic death, and would like to find some people to interview with whom she was close...
... maybe someone who has any suspicions of what led to her untimely death-- and who was responsible for it-- since the Mods are being awful quiet...

Demons are tricky creatures. I bet the goat did it.

...Wait, maybe I can! Something's fishy about this, and we should find out who's behind it! >O
