I'm writing an alternate history piece for the Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey challenge, and while a lot of it is planned and ready to write, the main character, unfortunately, doesn't have a name yet! I'm not very good with names, so if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. The character in need of a name is a female Zafara, in her late-twenties/early thirties. She was born in a small village in the medieval lands (Meridell/Brightvale/Darigan area), and was brought to the Citadel court as a young woman, and eventually ended up as the queen of the alternate history Darigan. Though not outright stated, she is the Queen Consort of Darigan, and has two children (mentioned in story). She's a quiet, content woman, and a good mother, but perhaps a bit too inquisitive for her own good. Recently she's been plagued by bad dreams, and looks to find answers in the ruins of Meridell. I made a custom for reference, if that helps. Her name could be a reference to mythology/legend/literature, or an original "fantasy" name, but for the former I'd like for it to not be too obvious (Pandora for instance). Again, thank you for any assistance.

The dreams bit in the synopsis made me think of the name Cassandra. Here's her wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CassandraThe article also mentions the alternate name "Alexandra" and the alternate spelling "Kassandra."

Oooh, I do like the name Cassandra (and the history behind it). Not entirely what I'm looking for, but I do need to name the children (one son and a little daughter), so I can use it for one of them. Little Princess Cassie.

Oooh Casandra is neat. Minerva came to my mind, the Goddess of Knowledge - but I suppose is falls on the Pandora issue. I'd also like to suggest Isis - Goddess of motherhood and fertility.

Cybele is a goddess of motherhood and it's also kinda close to Sybil which has prophetic/dream connotations if you wanted to make a name based on that. Not sure how well known she is.
Also, just wanted to mention that Isis has very negative connotations these days and I'm not sure if TNT would allow be okay with that, since many people are going to assume the extremist group and not the goddess. :/

Hey everyone, thanks for the help with the names!
Cybele is a great suggestion; the connotations are fitting and the spelling has a nice fantasy feel about it. I think we have a winner!
