"Ah, I wouldn't mind the ride!" the ribbon says. "But on the other hand, it's getting closer to midnight, so I suppose I'd better not. I'm glad you like it! Don't worry, I'd rather have you enjoy it!"
They gather up the treasure. "Ooh, neat! This'll be perfect to get that entrance just right! Thank you so much!" They wave their tail. "Happy Halloween to you too!"
As the tentacle prods the candy wrapper, and the head of a tiny squirrel peers out. They walk out of the candy wrapper and you see more of its body. You find that though its body is furry as would a normal squirrel, its body was sectioned off like an ant, and bore 8 legs instead of four. It seems to be carrying something underneath its tail.
"Oh, visitors! I'm glad; I was worried I wouldn't be able to give stuff to anybody! I'm glad you're here; are you enjoying the town? We welcome visitors fondly. Here's a token of this!"
They bring their tail over and drop something into the catgirl's hand. It appears to be a tiny piece of soft fabric. "It's a little blanket! Oh yes, it may be small for you now, but that can change! All you have to do is pull on the ends a bit, and it'll stretch and grow without breaking or going threadbare! You can pull it to be as big as you want so that it can cover as much as you want! That way you'll never have a blanket too small and leaving something in the cold. If you want it back to this size, all you have to do is clump it together and press hard, and it'll shrink! Pretty cool, huh?"
You got the Resizable Blanket!

The flap of the box lifts open, and the first thing you see is what looks like a tail. Then hastily, before you have a chance to react, the figure pops out, climbing on top of the box. It appears to be like a tiny monkey, but with a beak for a mouth, and while its legs were normal, the upper arms were merely replaced with more tails, which gripped the sides as the monkey looked up at Lizica. Its body appears to be stained with colors, most likely from the crayon box.
"Thanks!" It says. "I wanted a good one where I could move around and climb while waiting for visitors while still being pretty. I'm so glad you like it! Got some things inside to help me climb. Here!"
One of their tails went into the box and rummaged for a moment before pulling out what looked like a tiny hook, if without a pointy end. "Here's one of them! And it'll resize once it gets to your hand. In fact, as long as you think of a shape and a size for this thing when your hand goes near it, it'll become that shape and size! Comes in handy for a lot of things, including climbing once you get it in the wall!"
The monkey shrugged. "Don't ask me what it originally looked like. No one knows."

The bear-dragonfly hesitates at the question, looking down at the ground. "Well... If you really want to know..." They let out a sigh. "I'm sorry. I'm like this every year. Ever since I started coming. You see, being here, being among mortals... It reminds me of when I was alive. Sort of. Well, reminds me of..."
They shook their head. "I don't remember much of my life. No spirit does. We just have our feelings and personalities, like when we were alive. We don't know what happened, what thoughts led us that way, and a lot of things change. We don't even know which world we came from. But... I guess that's the thing. I always feel like I'm missing something. And when I talked to other spirits about it, I... I think I must have had children somewhere. Children who were young, who relied on me."
Their arms drooped. "And I guess coming here... I want to help. I love being able to help, to establish this connection between our worlds. But I can't help but wonder where they are, if they're still around, if they're in this world I'm visiting at all. If I'll ever see them again, and if they'll manage to find this place, rather than wait to live their lives and join the spirit world... I'll know them when I see them. We just can. But I've come here many times, and... And I've never seen them. And each trip just... reminds me of what I've lost, I suppose."
They pause for a moment before shaking their head. "I'm sorry; thank you for listening. Here's a little gift for being patient with me." They go back inside the bag for a moment and bring out another gift. It looks to be a piece of candy.
"This candy is particularly special for mortals," they say. "It tastes like mortals would expect, but it'll revert you to a childhood form for a few hours, in case you ever want to re-live that experience, at least for a bit."
