Teeeeechnically I'm in my senior year of college, but that won't happen until next year. I think. I'm still a little confused because they haven't told me anything about a senior thesis and I don't know what I'm going to do for that. Maybe I'll try and write a fantasy/scifi novel, even if that might make a few professors unhappy (they look down at that as escapist trash type stuff).
English Major with a Creative Writing Emphasis. I want to write books someday but otherwise I don't know what I want to do with my degree. I have a dream of interning at the Nanowrimo office, but I'd need it to pay me so I could go down there and I don't think it would. So yeah...

Oh yay! This group is great, I can tell. I'm starting my first year of university this semester, which I'm so nervous/excited for. I'm getting my bachelors in Child and Youth Care and pretty stoked about that.
My class schedule is pretty nice cause it's monday through wednesday (thursday friday off! woot!) but I didn't get the classes I wanted since I was nearly the last on the registration list. So I have Anthropology World Religions, Philosophy, Political Science and Intro to Crim Justice (just cause it's interesting and I was interested in going into criminology). So.. yeah! That's me. :3

...I realize that I didn't actually answer the topic on the first post. xD Go me.
I'm still getting some of the little details worked out, but my classes are pretty much in the morning. I have to wake up early for 9am classes every day of the week (ugh), but once afternoon rolls around, I'm free for the rest of the day. (With the exception of some once a week classes that I'm working out.) Of course, it does mean that I'm going to have to get serious about getting up on time, and not sleeping in like I normally do. >_> I guess I'll end up dedicating my afternoons to studying.
As for textbooks, I... Actually don't have to buy any this semester, because they're all books I've used in previous courses. ^^; I am going to have to get rid of some that I'm never going to use again, though. I'm slowly on the task of getting rid of things I don't really need to make it easier to move out of the dorms later.

Woo, sign me up! =D I'm a senior going into my last semester, and this fall is going to be hell on a stick with an absolutely ridiculous mix of awful upper level classes. On the bright side, though, no morning classes, which is fantastic and the first time since spring 2013 I haven't had a morning class. ^^

So, for the past week or so, I've checked every day to see if the booklist that's tied to registered courses ever got updated with anything. Eventually (a few days ago) they finally updated it so that one class showed this remote thing we've already had to use for a lot of classes since first-year, so I was just thinking "great, they're going to leave books until the very last minute again"
and then I checked today and there was still nothing, so I figured I'd go to the campus bookstore and check there because they always have the textbooks on the shelves by course number, so I could just go to the sections that had my course numbers on them and trust that whatever books were there were required. Except none of my courses had sections of shelves (except that remote thing), so... I think it's safe to say I don't have to buy any textbooks this semester. xD
Aside from that, normal schedule isn't too bad (9:30am earliest lectures 3 days a week, and starting a few hours later on Wednesdays and Fridays), but that's probably since I only have 4 courses instead of 5 this term because I've been taking summer courses alongside my job. <_<
As I mentioned on Skype, though, and as I'm sure anyone who's involved in some form of leadership of a club on campus would know... ugh, this week is going to be hectic and people-ful and not just crowds but actually meeting people and -_______- can I just pretend to be sick Tues-Fri plz

I changed around my schedule! Now I'm taking FREN210: Intro to French Lit instead of FREN203: Review of French Grammar. 203 consisted of stuff I knew already, so. I think this one will be fun. :3

So I have this vague, halfway serious idea of leaving the graduate program and getting a bachelor's degree in computer science instead...
It's crazy, and I kind of like it

Working on getting my Master's Degree in computer networking (a branch of computer science). I try to skirt around text book costs by finding a PDF version available online. Can't always do that though, boo.
I almost had a bachelor's degree in psychology, though was never officially a double-major. I just wanted to know how people thought. I panicked my senior year and did not complete the final class necessary for the degree. I also took waaaaay more biology classes than required.
Currently I really miss the scholarships I had as an undergraduate. Really. Miss.

This forum really does have everything. I will be graduating as this spring with a Bachelors in History and a Bachelors in Justice Studies. Right now I really shouldn't be on NTWF and I really should be studying for my Homicide exam that is in two hours... but it is just so hard to study for something you feel overly confident about taking. I had an introduction to criminology class last fall and basically everything from that class is a review in Homicide so I really do not want to study at all.
