In the editorial of Neopian Times Issue #655, someone asked TNT why was there a stick on Kreludor. TNT answered by not answering:
*sigh* The people in charge of running the site, everyone.
Anyway, I posted a review of my thoughts on this week Editorial on the Editorial thread when me and surfersquid got into a discussion about reasons why there would be a stick on Kreludor. After coming up with a few, I suggested that we make it a forum project of coming up with a whole list of reasons why there would be a stick on Kreludor with the intent on then making that list into an article to be submitted into the Neopian Times. Of course everyone well be credited, infact I think we should make up scientist names for ourselves so that we know who suggested what, but we can discuss that later. As for now, here are some of the explanations me and surfersquid came up with:
Pikachu315111:
1. Before crashing into Kreludor, the meteor was actually covered in alien flora. However the meteor was heading right towards Kreludor and upon entering its atmosphere the meteor set ablaze, burning all the flora that was on it. The only surviving piece of flora was a lone stick that broke off from a plant on the meteor upon the meteor entering the atmosphere. While the meteor burned up, the stick gently floated down nearby where the meteor had landed. That stick is the stick everyone now uses to poke the meteor.
2. The meteor landed nearby a spot a Grundo scientist was previously using to experiment growing plants on Kreludor's surface, leaving behind a stick when he was done.
Surfersquid:
1. I think it was just left by a careless Woodland pet.
Coaster:
1. Or it's such a tourist attraction that Kreludan authorities provide sticks so that folks don't have to poke it with a finger. <_<
2. Adding to that theory, though, where would they import the sticks from? Haunted Woods, maybe, which could explain the way the meteor so often vanishes mysteriously? Are they actually magic wands, and the whole thing is a front to try to trick hapless visitors into cleaning up Kreludor's surface from this meteorite litter?
So, anyone else have anything to add?
So, at meteor crash site 725-XZ, many Neopians come to poke said meteor with a stick, but the site is on Kreludor. Kreludor has no trees. So, where DOES that stick come from? ~melanistic_leopard
By Fyora. Where does it come from?!? *hits panic button*
RED ALERT! RED ALERT!
WE HAVE A STICKY SITUATION!
