10 years ago today...

...I thought "hey, maybe this NTWF thing is worth checking out" and made an account.

I can't begin to describe the impact you all have had on my life, you guys. Seriously. The NTWF has been a staple of my life for nearly half of it. So many great memories! I've been in a lot of internet communities over the years and there is definitely something special about the NTWF. It's the one place I don't think I will ever leave. You are all awesome, quirky, wonderful people and I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to meet you (even IRL, in some cases - I hope there are more NTWF meetups in my future!)

You guys have been here for me during some pretty rough times in life - and I don't always talk about my personal life so you might not even have known that, but I assure you it is true. The NTWF has never failed to be a safe place for me. A lot has changed in ten years, both on the forum and off it... but at the end of the day, this is still the online place I can call home. <3 Thank you.

Edit: SO APPARENTLY IT'S ACTUALLY TOMORROW. Whatever. The sentiment remains. It's July 9 somewhere, right? ;D

Ten years ago I was a small grubby-slobbery toddler child and I had no idea what an Elcie was. ^___^ (Turns out, an Elcie is a cool person. :0)

I totally second everything you said about the NTWF and I'm glad you've been a part of the netwuff family for so long! I had a lot of fun doing homestuck forumy things with you a while back and I really enjoy your presence on the forum and hearing about your life in the skype chat. Congrats on your tenaversary!
