I love those designs! Does the darker and edgier roleplay still have Pokemon in it? If so, that sounds absolutely amazing and I hope you have a blast! <3
Shani is super cute, and not a character I've seen before? Are they an angel, or some other variety of birb person? And Ivan looks like a dashing pirate, haha! But the star of the show is, of course, Robert. <3 Lots of people have trouble with pony anatomy but you drew him so small and chubby and cute, I love.

It does, and so far, it's been pretty fun, though I do need to remember my characters' pokemon. xD; Aside from the ho-oh who is constantly out and a character in his own right (yes, one of my characters has a ho-oh and it makes sense in context without being a Mary Sue.) Yeah, Shani was from The Island, which was a roleplay that was abandoned before it ended. I am pretty sure I did not upload my orignal sketch of her (and I won't because it is old and terrible). She is an angel because I wrote a NaNo about angels around that time and went "sure, why not?" when lacking character ideas. xD I was wondering how to draw Ivan (i.e. pre-Ene's manly potion or post) before deciding that "ripped shirt" is most visually interesting (before anybody gets ideas, it's because I get to draw ripped fabric). And yes, Robert. <3 I did use a reference partly, but owning House Stallion has forced me to get decent at horse anatomy too. Plus of course, he has to be a cute, chubby floof, because how could he not be? <3 But glad you love him!

Right...uh...wow, it's been a while. I have some stuff, plus some DnD designs but I will post those separately because there is a lot. In the meantime, have a Medieval art selection plus some Naelus. It's stuff I have drawn over the past few months. I...don't think I ever posted this? At least I could not find it in my thread. But have the Hound from the Knight Adventures roleplay in Medieval being a Good Boy. He found your head, Dullahan. =D Aren't you happy? (Tags to Shinko for the Hound. But I've shown this to you on Discord, IIRC?) A cute little thing that probably happened during the Langean War with the Elves and Hector. Specifically Anri, the "scary" elf. Hector got you a fluffy hat with ear pockets, Anri. Hand knitted by his mama too. As soon as Anri takes it, Hector will run away. (Tag to Shinko for Anri again) More cute things, this time with Corrin and Eleanor. On Flight Rising, Eleanor-dragon wears rainbow silks so I decided to draw human!Eleanor in silks... Corrin approves. And another tag to @shinkryu14 for Eleanor because I've drawn a lot of your characters. Another character but one owned by somebody else. I drew the Drunk's recruitment. =D Look at that happy Corinne. (tag to Ginz ❤) An excellent example of the legendary Stallion-Jade rivalry, demonstrated by golf. Everett is wearing more traditional golf clothes whilst Alain wears modern. (Tag to PFA for Evvy) Sassy character who has not had an introduction aside from in this thread is insanely sassy. Liou look, it's your lady who is awesome and I swear I've not forgotten her, I've just been writer's blocked and tired and busy. ;_; Flight Rising had a lore event a while back in which they revealed Emperors, the multiple headed Emperor. And the idea that happened was my dragon, Absolon (yes, based on that Absolon) fighting them. Plus his little Ice Sprite. :3 And finally my two Naelus characters. The PC, Svar, the neurotic firebird. He is based on a peacock-pheasant and he is very bright and shiny. The sketch for him is here if anybody is curious. But I prefer the colours. This is not in colour but she is mostly shades of brown instead of Svar's brilliant fire-like colours. This is Morag the elderly haggis.

I recently got into DnD and have been drawing quite a bit as plans for the campaigns that are being run (DMs take over if one is unavailable. We currently have two going). It's been a lot of fun. For the first campaign (Mhuirn), I have an aasimar cleric. This is him: And in colour: He is a huge nerd. Some details: My cleric when he finally hits level 3 and gains an ability that will grant him wings. The wings are a sacred ibis. This is very relevant and not chosen randomly. And this is his god, Vran: He is a god of wisdom and death. A raven with a human head, he bleeds eternally from a wound in his neck which he sustained when he cut off his own head in an attempt to know death. Though he travelled down the path, he could not fully know death as his wife, the goddess of love and life (more on her later) saved him by stitching his head back on. Vran acts like a psycopomp to all humans from then on. As well as the god's wife and mortal enemy, Ysha (whose drawing is PG-13 and thus might not be safe for some sensibilities) She is a flirtatious, vivacious troll who is equally matched with her husband in intelligence and power. Her bird part is a white stork. She also has a connection with my character, who by the by, hates her guts because of what she represents. My DM: Hey, does your cleric have other people living with him in the temple? Me: Never tell me to create characters. Ever. I will go nuts. Copy and paste their descriptions from my plotting doc: hyrra: The high priest of Vran and an elderly moon elf, around 500 years old, though as befitting her kin, she is still sharp and spry. Though not always a worshipper of Vran, she converted after spending a long time with soldiers. She is wise, eloquent and perceptive, with nothing escaping her. This ability, combined with a highly diplomatic manner, allows her to resolve conflicts before they escalate too far. However, she is also highly aloof and reclusive, preferring to only interfere if she has no other choice. When she does intervene, it is not directly, instead only planting the idea in a mind and allowing it to sprout. Otherwise she is happy to spend her time studying. A perfectionist, she expects nothing less of her subordinates or herself. It is rare to hear her laugh, but if there is a joke or situation she finds funny, her laugh will be unrestrained. Once a former adventuring cleric, Phyrra retired a century ago after her aging party was killed, leaving her the only survivor with an injury that left her half blind. It was her who subtly encouraged Martin to go adventuring in order to resolve his dissatisfaction. She was also the only one who he told he was an aasimar when he arrived, otherwise keeping it a secret. She would be Lawful Good. Lillia: The tiefling master of funerals. Though she might seem intimidating due to her mask, her laconic way of speech, deep voice and generally wary nature, she is nevertheless the kindliest person in the whole temple. As a tiefling, she is not eager to trust just anybody but she nevertheless makes sure to look after both the clergy and laity by helping them indirectly. If there is an unexplained act of kindness in the most dire situation, it is most likely committed by Lillia. Indeed, as master of funerals, she uses her position as an excuse to approach and comfort grieving families. She joined the temple in order to be able to help people in a way that they would not reject due to their prejudice. She is not a cleric but a priest, being unwilling to channel Vran’s power. Lilia guessed Martin was aasimar right away and as a result was highly uncomfortable and wary around him, a fact that he mistook for dislike. But maybe she gave him a present when he left, idk? She trims her horns and has jet black skin that just barely looks natural. Art of her face here and here’s what her skin tone looks like. She would be Neutral Good. Ririk: The aarakocra raven master. He is highly solitary and rarely goes into the claustrophobic main temple, instead hanging out on the cliffs with his beloved ravens. As a result, nobody except the high priestess knows much about him, and she respects his secrecy. He looks like a steller’s jay. He would be True Neutral. Bren: The human quartermaster. Though very good at him job of keeping track of resources and running the temple smoothly, he is a strict, stingy man with no sense of humour and a rigid understanding of the rules, allowing no deviations. His penny-pinching ways and inability to take a joke are widely mocked among the novices and younger priests and clerics, though they would never dare say that to Bren’s face as he is known to be quite vengeful when mocked. Nevertheless, if you do not cross him, he is very fair, never giving away less than what people need or not listening to complaints or concerns. Often, he does lament that he is surrounded by idiots without the slightest hint of irony.. Even if he is a dull, strict, scrooge, nobody can deny the temple would be much poorer- figuratively and literally- and far less well-organised without him at the helm. He would be Lawful Neutral. Colm: A human priest who entered the temple as a novice around the same time as Martin. Colm has magical potential but very little training in it. He is orphaned and turned to Vran as a way to gain an education and find a way in life. Despite his past, he is highly idealistic, optimistic and friendly, wanting to make friends with Martin as soon as they met. Martin for the most part remained aloof until he discovered Colm was orphaned, at which point, due to growing up with orphans, he did make himself an older brother figure to the boy, albeit still remaining at a distance. That was until Martin and Colm got lost together in the deep caves while an undead creature that had been released accidentally from an ancient artifact pursued them. It was then when Colm learned that Martin was an aasimar while Martin gained respect for Colm due to the younger man’s magic powers and ability to think on his feet despite fear. The two ended up being friends, though the feeling was stronger on Colm’s side than Martin’s. Nevertheless, he is one person in the temple besides the high priestess who Martin would say he truly misses. He would be Lawful Good. As well as a close up of the face of one of the above who was hidden: Just pandering to my DM, since she loves tieflings. Finally, for this campaign, art of one of the other PCs, since he did not have art: He's a tortle ranger. For the second campaign (Earogard), I am playing an aarakockra paladin who is a swan. A giant, nine foot (with her neck outstretched), strength of 18 swan who is a beast. Granted, this campaign we are starting at level 3. Her name is Laguna, which is short for "Daughter of the Crystal Lagoon", which is a translation of her actual name which is too hard for humanoids to pronounce. Her back, to show how the armour interacts with her wings: And an example of one of her kind in the water: Looks like a regular swan but with arms. #birdswitharms Finally, for a future campaign, I have an air genasi bard: This is Peregrine. They're non-binary, a spoiled jerk and the most extra character I have ever created. I love them. Also, I realise that in my last sketchdump, I did not include scans of my small sketchbook, so I shall attempt to get those up...sometime. You know me. I don't post here much due to lazy. xD;

Uhh, okay umm...I have a ton of art that I drew but never put up here. xD; I think I really should correct that now. I'm going to try to do my best to remember what I actually need to put in but if I miss something...oh well. A couple of the above characters but with colours. =D No shading but I will work on it. Laguna Peregrine They only get more extra with colour. I have also got to play this idiot and they are ridiculously fun. Highlights include threatening an abusive ex-fiance of a girl they find attractive by taking out a rudely-shaped turnip and dipping it into a vial of acid to show that will be done to him if he ever comes near her again. Peregrine is an idiot but I have been pleasantly surprised to discover their heart is in the right place. My friends also did a gladiatorial combat DnD one-shot. Here is my character for it: Yngvildr the Dragonborn Barbarian. She is a desert storm herald barbarian. She won. And speaking of DnD, you know what else happened? NTWF DnD Campaign! Specifically, EuroAtlantis. Here is my character for it. Meallan the firbolg warlock. Sketch: And in colour: And now that he is level 3, this is an accurate picture. Since his ears are the main way of him expressing himself, I decided to do the Expressions challenge with him to show how they work. He spent the first three sessions disguised as an elf, since disguise self is an innate firbolg ability. Here's what he looked like: A few other EuroDnD party members. First, a profile picture of Amani ( Gelquie). They're a shadow sorcerer with lovely/creepy silver eyes. This is also posted on Amani's profile. Also Moni's paladin, Khamet ( Moni) My mental image of what he looked like, complete with glorious moustache: Khamet rolls a nat20 on fishing. And some miscellaneous things: My above aasimar cleric, demonstrating how his eyes glow in the dark. Peregrine's mama, who used to be a powerful regent but as part of their backstory, has been executed for treason. I love drawing beautiful ladies in suits. And a few sketches of my DnD characters as babies (Meallan not included because I was going to draw him but life took over.) Martin, being a nerd. Laguna, floofy cygnet. Peregrine, an exercise in perspective because air genasi can float. Yngvildr, who is NOT SMOL BUT FIERCE But wait, there's more! Stay tuned for a second post where I shall be dumping some beautiful gift art that has been taking up the majority of my time over the past few months.

Over the past few months, I have been doing a lot of gifts! Especially over Christmas. Most of there are for RL friends but we can start off with our very own Thorn because for her birthday, I drew her a picture of her character, Zazz. Thorn can probably give you all the deets, but the rundown of the picture is that Zazz is a drow rogue. I drew him in his fancy leather armour reading shoujo manga, because it seems liked something Zazz would enjoy, judging from Thorn's words. Thorn liked it, as far as I am aware. x3 A friend of mine was having a rough time, so I drew her wild magic disaster tiefling sorerer, Niamh. Seen here not rolling a nat 1 and falling into the fountain, almost getting us all arrested. For this same friend's birthday, I drew her battle royale tiefling, Sera (this is the one shot Yngvildr was from) And yet another member of the group had a birthday. Her character is a gnome rogue named Indigo and he is good friends with my swan paladin so I drew them together. Then Christmas arrived. All six of my RL friends who are part of my DnD group got art presents. Some were surprises, some they requested. Some context below each picture. A picture of a nice bonding moment between this person's character and mine: a gift of a paper origami raven in an inn. Makes up for calling Martin a "stupid cleric" in elvish earlier, not knowing my nerd can speak it. They were attacked a few minutes later by bandits but it's still nice. Martin's party's dragonborn druid. Why do I always curse myself with doing night scenes even though they are so hard? Sunshine, the paladin from Peregrine's campaign. A no-nonsense captain who has taken to giving Peregrine "gentle" nudges whenever she thinks they're being inappropriate. More of Laguna and Indigo, this time communicating with Indigo's granny, who is a mafia boss. Her kenku henchman is in the background. Mess, the rogue of Martin's party, stealing from some very familiar faces if you've been following my thread for long enough. Run, Mess. I ran out of characters to draw for this friend so I drew her Caleb from Critical Role. He's her favourite character there. I...may submit this to the stream. >_>

Yes submit it please! It's beautiful, I'm so confident they'll feature it! <3
These are absolutely beautiful! I'm at work on my phone, but can't wait to get home and look at the ones I hadn't seen before on a bigger screen.
You're right about Zazz though. <3 That art made me incredibly happy, I was so excited to get art of my silly rogue boy!

I will respond to both posts! Because there are parts of the first one I haven't seen before (pretty sure I never saw Laguna in colour!) Post One Response:Laguna is crazy cool, oh my goodness! I love that she's not quite as anthro as some aarakocra- she looks very Birb. Also absolutely adore the intricate little designs on her forearms and shoulders!
Peregrine is fab as ever, the designs on their clothing are amazing!
Still not over Meallan's almost heartbreakingly pretty elven design...I love how your elves look incredibly lovely while also remaining a bit alien!
Wow how dare you make Peregrine's mum so aesthetic, I am Torn.
AWW THAT BABY LAGUNA she's so cute and fuzzy! Is that Peregrine's siblings looking up at them? They're an adorable child with omg so much hair, I love it.
Post Two Response:"Thorn can probably give you all the deets" yo yeah let me do a quick dramatic reenactment... Me: I bet the Forgotten Realms equivalent of [my nerdstore] would be called [pun on my nerdstore's name], and that Zazz would take full advantage of the 3 for 2 manga deals.
Celes: I can imagine he'd really like shoujo manga.
Me: ZOMG YES cool powers, pretty outfits, sparkly transformation sequences...he'd be all over that.
And thus, when my birthday rolled around, I got this gorgeous piece of art! The boots, the hair, the little ruff, the general demeanor- the whole thing is so perfect I was SO HAPPY. I've responded to the tiefs before but still know that I 100% love them both and DEM ABS MAN, wow she buff. Indigo and Laguna look so adorable and happy and it makes my heart melty, I love it. <3 Ahhh you mentioned the origami raven before! I love the background, it must have taken you forever. =O That's a pretty rad spear your friend's cleric has! And I love the little melty effect on the candles. (gosh it seems like bandits are out to ruin goodtimes in every campaign, amirite? xP) Um rude how dare that dragonborn be the coolest dragonborn I've ever seen??? Don't think I've seen a green one before, come to think of it. The background is just wow, so stunning. Your friend must have been ecstatic! Sunshine is beautiful- Oath of the Ancients, right? Love that design on the shield! I have heard about this kenku henchman before and I love them. You somehow managed to make a cute birb creature look menacing. I love it. Already commented on Caleb but I just wanna say the pose, the fire effects...and I would be 8000x happy for you and actually watch the episode if your art was in it, so there ya go! xP

Thorn, And my responses to your responses! In one spoilerbox because I am lazy. Thank you, glad you like my silly swan. But nah, I, as a proud bird nerd, was going to make her as birb as I possibly can. That means I can show off my birb knowledge when I play her. Heck, her design was originally not even going to include the "birds with arms" aesthetic but I realised it would be Too Cool if she could swordfight in the air.
Peregrine is such a fabulous extra drama child, I love them.
Thank you! I have actually very rarely drawn elves so I'm glad I nailed the aesthetic on my first try. I figure if they are detached and inhuman, they should look it.
Peregrine's mum is Super Aesthetic and I am also Very Torn. She is supposed to be super hawt and confident but...torn.
Baby Laguna is a big floof. Funnily enough, I never gave much thought to those two figures but once my friends guessed it was Peregrine's siblings and now you, I guess it's a "sure, why not?"
xDD Yep, that's pretty much it. I take throwaway comments and make them A Thing. I am still so happy you like Zazz and how I drew him. <3 He was so fun to do.
Sera is super buff. And it's hard to see in that picture but her roleplayer say she is smol: about 5 foot 3 at most. So she is a smol muscle tief.
Indigo and Laguna have one of my favourite relationships out of all my characters. They are super cute and she protec him.
That background took me forever. Friend plays a warlock and yeah, his spear is super cool. Two snakes wound around each other. It's neat. (And they dooo. ;_; Bandits are Rood.)
Oh yeah, she was delighted. She loves dragons so seeing this made her super happy. The horns don't glow in canon but I liked the effect and so did she. We are working on trying to get them to glow somehow. x3 I don't know why exactly Isa (the dragonborn) is green but I guess nature?
Sunshine is...I'm not sure, she's not taken an oath yet but that was the design the roleplayer described to be on her shield. It took me so long to do due to those loops but I like how it turned out.
Zareed, yep, I probably told you about him through my campaign rambles. He is...a sneaky birb. I love kenku, I think they're adorable, but he is genuinely menacing.
I would be over the moon if I got in but I am not raising my hopes. xD As soon as I get permission from my friend, I will submit it and hope that Liam-senpai notices me.

I have not been doing a large quantity of art but I have had a whole bunch of quality art. Delayed by some extent by the fact that I messed up my hand and then have just had various life things. Which means the first two are Christmas requests which I only recently finished. Both are for RL friends. The first one is just me and my two friends as birds but also various DnD classes. Cleric crowned crane (me), ranger barn owl and budgie bard. The second is for the friend depicted as the ranger owl above. It's an illustration/character designs from one of her stories. Left to right: Bleddyn, Scarlet the changeling and Brandi. Bleddyn and Brandi are both fey. I also drew more of Meallan, in a subtle scene from one of the sessions. Mainly I wanted to illustrate what his Eldrich Blast spell looks like but then I went over the top with it because I need to learn lighting. Volan is just off-screen. 8'D Also, the cave wall may or may not be a stock photo I boiled down. >_>

Right, okay, some art needs to go on here sometime. I do not want to neglect the forum forever. I'll put colour images in here and then the next post will be full of sketchy things. First up, for an RL friend's birthday, I drew a bunch of her characters in a pop star AU. Or rather, I drew their human guises because in this AU, they are in fact monsterous beings who steal souls. You can see why we're friends. [ Do you know how long that pose on the very right took me? A long time. It is much more complex than it looks. A commission(!!) for Thorn of her celestial tiefling warlock, Larkspur. RIP Larkspur. </3 At least you were pretty. Feat. fancy snowflake armour. I had a ton of fun with the details here. An epic illustration of my dear paladin, Laguna, critical-hitting the Grey King, as described in this storyIn hindsight, I could have picked a better angle but I am proud of the lighting on this. Some very good firbolg boys who are important to Meallan's backstory. Nothing to see here. Except for their adorable faces. These two are the most sickeningly sweet couple, urgh. The whole EuroAtlantis party but drawn in very fancy clothes. Meallan, my dumb boy. Rocking a Victorian gentleman look with that long flowy coat and gloves. When I asked Liou what Tally would wear, they said she would wear a men's kimono, a hakama. Hence this. I think she looks super cute in it. Gelquie's Amani I decided to do more 18th century French, mainly because it is more gender neutral than regular formal clothing today but also because it can be super shiny and fancy. Which Amani appreciates. Thundy's Anthony has a classic tux. Because it never goes out of style. Moni's Khamet of course had to be in a military uniform. I combined a few various styles and coloured it to match his paladin colours. And Breakingchains' Basil, who has no official image but I headcanon he looks like this. He's got a kilt, because somebody has to and you can hide quite a few trinkets in that sporran. I also did D&D Pride month, since three out of my four characters are some form of LGBT+. Martin is ace. He also has a dorky smile. Meallan is demi-bi but I could not find a good design for a demibi flag so just stuck with demi. And Peregrine is Pan and Intersex, and proud of it. They are a one-person Pride.

Now with the colour stuff out of the way, miscellaneous sketches! This is Pumpkin. Pumpkin is blood hunter Order of the Profane Soul who serves David Bowie's Goblin King. Pumpkin is also basically an angry 4 foot 5 ginger were-pomeranian who fights anybody who looks at them funny. I made them for a joke campaign and I love them. Regular form And shifted were-form, in which they embrace their inner pomeranian. Still angry though. On a completely different spectrum, a small Shetland pony druid who is the chillest, sweetest boy. His name is Selwyn and he is my backup for EuroAtlantis. He is basically a hippie, if hippies were also magical. Some concept art of the main boss for the one-shot I ran for my RL group over Christmas, of the Snow Queen...who is actually Mrs. Claus. The two homebrew gods I have for Martin's campaign, Vran and Ysha, in modern clothes and human forms. Inspired by American Gods. Ysha in this would be a popular socialite whilst Vran is a known eccentric recluse who lives in his own mansion far from the city. Also from Martin's campaign, Zuzanna, a ghostly cultist of Vecna and #1 Vecna fangirl. She is a Memory of Vecna, to be specific. And she thinks Vecna is the most beautiful thing ever. Has totally written a romance novel about him. Remember the tiefling above, Niamh? For reasons, she turned into a frog in the campaign (well, okay, it was because her patron was not happy she took her back to the Feywild). I did not colour her but she is blue, black and white. The flower in her mouth grants wishes, at the expense of something equal in price. I was over at Thundy's place when we had a session so he ended up being a guest star. And his character (half-orc Popeye) struck up a romance with the half-orc barbarian in our party. So they became a romance novel cover. Look out for the colour version of this, since I promised it for the barbarian roleplayer's birthday. Decided to illustrate a bunch of cantrips for my characters. (Laguna not featured because as a paladin, she has no signature cantrip) Martin: Sacred Flame Pumpkin: Toll the Dead Meallan: Eldritch blast (of course). I have done a much better version of this but I wanted to draw swooshy Meallan. And Peregrine...Vicious Mockery. Thorn's brother guest-starred in EuroAtlantis as Athenos, the smol owl-person paladin. I loved him and so I sketched him. The green stuff in his armour are vines. The original now belongs to Thorn's brother. And of course, in my brain, he attracted the attention of my own birb Oath of the Ancients paladin... Laguna loves small cute things. Athenos does not love Laguna. Speaking of smols, remember how I drew my characters as babies? I finally got around to doing this for Meallan! Grump. Him and his massive, oversized ears. Also, I like that pose. On the topic of Meallan and smols, I think it was Moni who said I should draw him with a kitten? So I did. Say what you will about Meallan and how much of a jerk he is to humanoids but animals, he adores. Aytal be like "what dis?" Meallan also has an animal familiar. His name is Aytal, he is a sable (normally) and his favourite position is below: He is the best scarf. I also drew the EuroAtlantis party as kitties, because why not? Meallan as a forest cat and Khamet ( Moni) as a mau. Tally( Liou) is a sleek black cat, Basil( Breakingchains) as a munchkin. Anthony( Thundy) as a tuxedo cat, Amani( Gelquie) as a siamese. BONUS: NPCs. Crezonis and Juniper. The latter is a munchkin, the former has no specific breed. Speaking of NPCs, I drew Crezonis, a major NPC for EuroAtlantis for a while, for ThornHe was/is (it's complicated) a warlock for an archfey named Arcaito (who is the shadowy figure). His regular eyes (when possessed by Arcaito, they are bright green) and colour scheme, to show he is a palomino centaur Annnd...that's it. That's all my sketches! See you in a few months, folks. I leave you with Tally doing her beautiful staff practice.
