Okay so this is embarrassing.
My username on neopets is Shinkoryu14. I submitted a continued story yesterday afternoon called "Ballad of the Faerie's Champion: Stagnation." But this morning, I realized that I goofed. I like to keep all the files for when I edit my stories separate, and when I submitted the story yesterday I realized that I submitted it from the file of an earlier revision. Among numerous small contextual changes, that version has an entire rather important scene missing from the end of the story, without which the conclusion seems rather rushed.
I know you probably haven't even gotten around to glancing at this submission yet since it was just posted, so I was wondering if it would be possible for me to resubmit the final, correct version of the story if I made a notation in the "leave any comments on your story here" box? If it's necessary to go through the process of formally rejecting the first submission beforehand that's fine, but I'd really prefer that version not make it into the Times.
EDIT: Aaaaand after I posted this I got a letter that the incorrect submission was being held over! Whoops! That was a mite faster then I was expecting. I haven't sent the corrected version yet because I wanted to be doubly sure if the incorrect original needed to be rejected first or not.

You can always neomail nt_editor and tell her the situation. That is Droplet's Neopets account.

No worries! You can just submit the new version now and we will look at that one instead.

Thank you Droplet! I sent in the new version, with a small note explaining what it is.
