I don't like going underwater. ;__; When I first started playing and was on my way from the first scene (like walking along the river) I fell in and it took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to get out and it had dragged me very far first. XD I tried Lord of the Rings online during a free to play back near the beginning. I got stuck in one of the elven cities because I kept falling off the stairs. It took my like five minutes to get up those stairs. They weren't even that high a flight of stairs. All of that, while my brother's friend watched. This was the friend who the last game we played together was Half-Life Death Match and I finally wound up hiding in a bathroom in a stall hoping they wouldn't find me. I don't think I made a very good impression on that friend. XD

I should probably try out Skyrim because it's so talked about and whatnot but it's expensive, too, and probably takes up a lot more time than I care to invest, and I'm a noob when it comes to first-person stuff.
Meanwhile, I should work.

Me too. I cannot play first person games, particularly shooters. I tried Metroid Prime once. My reaction has become a running gag. I still haven't stopped screaming inside. XD; Despite how bad I'm making myself look, I actually do manage to play video games. I really enjoy more than just Harvest Moon, I swear.

I just pictured a browser-based Medieval game kind of like EpicMafia, but instead of Mafia it's Medieval
but Medieval might be too complex for that, idk (maybe a simplified version of it)
(I'd also have no idea how to create such a thing)

I don't know how either, but that's probably mostly because I don't know much of anything about the gameplay specifics yet. FOR REASONS. *glares at Carrie and Icon's apparent NDA* All this mystery surrounding the gameplay is becoming very suspicious. Something evil must be happening behind the scenes. Something they don't want us to know. Theory 1: The files with over 9000 words of plans do not exist. All of the clues and information we've heard so far were just random ideas from the top of Carrie's brain to quell our suspicions. When everyone finally signs up and excitedly awaits the unveiling of the best game evar, Icon and Carrie will reveal that Medieval, much like cake, was all a lie. The longest, most successful April Fool prank ever. Then they will dance around us, singing Trololololo. Theory 2: Medieval is a very elaborate experiment. Once we have signed up, everything we do in the game will send complicated signals to a secret alien base that will interpret our choices and figure out all of humanity's weaknesses before the great invasion. (Not that they really need an experiment for that.) Theory 3: As soon as we have signed up for Medieval, there will be no going back. It will send us to our rightful places, as faithful subjects of our lady Destiney. Of course there is no gameplay to give us details about, because only Destiney herself can decide how to dispose of our lives, and even the almighty Icon and Carrie cannot fathom the depths of Destiney's wisdom. Theory 4: We are not ready yet. We have been Chosen to play the life-changing, world-saving quest that is Medieval, but our great powers still lie dormant within us. If we became aware too suddenly of the hardships that line our path, our mutant/magical powers would go berserk and we would rampage and destroy the whole world. That is why we must wait until we are ready to hear wisdom, bit by bit, from our mentors Carrie and Icon. Theory 5: We're just not invited to play, Coaster. D: It's an exclusive party for the cool people. All of the true players have already been sent the gameplay information in a private group. They are an elitist cult that wear cloaks and meet in a secret location to play the mysterious Medieval together. Oh yeah, and a browser-based Medieval game sounds really cool, but complicated to make.

I don't see why people think we're being all "mysterious" about gameplay. XD I've revealed basically all there is to reveal in conversations on Skype. I think perhaps people are expecting it to be a lot more complicated than it is? But like, it's pretty transparent, guys. o__0 Everyone gets role-related moves-- factions get a combination of moves per night, peasants one move per night. There are quests to complete via these moves, and quests grant points. Factions recruit peasants. That's... that's basically it. XD

XD We're not, I promise, it's actually really simple-- which is a good thing because I don't think anyone wants to play an insanely complicated game.
