((Come to think, does Taco City even have an established size?)) ((No, Taco City does not have an established size. It's been a plot point several times, actually; that's why there aren't many useful maps of the city as a whole—space is unstable and tends to shift. Jaden and Piers mentioned this briefly during the summer session of the meeting. What is known for certain is pretty limited. The Prosecutors' Office and Windy's Point occupy the highest altitudes in the city, at least the populated half. The area toward the square tends to be more like a downtown area, with many many businesses close together and very few living spaces. The city is twice the size that most people give it credit for, since there is a mirror half that has been largely abandoned and has fallen to monsters and anyone willing to risk the danger.)) .oO (What language is that?) ... *to Kana* What else can I do to help? Kana: *smiles, then looks confused as the Rebel Angels and Cossack ramble on in (presumably) Russian* ... The tyros were teleported off by the second robot. Shortly after, the first teleported back in.Kana: *smiles again as Cossack addresses her in a language she has installed* Farewell, then, good sir, and thank you for your assistance. *turns to Ring* And you, Keltso. Keltso: *Seems surprised someone's addressing him by his Russian name*Cossack: *Nods and takes out an amulet, pressing the center and vanishing into a swirl of 0s and 1s* *Narrows his eyes at his Russian counterpart* I got my eyes on you, twerp.
Give it a rest, Cowboy. Any word back yet from your dragons, Pisces? Pisces: They don't speak telepathically over long-distance. If they didn't spot anyone on the rooftops or open streets, they'll circle a few times before coming back. Exploring alleys isn't really their thing, it's too narrow to maneuver well. *Looks over to Kana* Your move, Commander. -*-*- [The squadron of dragons had split out all across the city; three headed to the docks and the sea, three toward the abandoned half of town, three to the edge bordering the wasteland before the evil forests, and three in the directions of the border that faced the plateaus and mountains. They flew overhead low enough to see the aerial view of the rooftops and streets clearly, but high enough to not be immediately visible. Each was searching primarily for movement, and then for the glint of metal. They were occasionally given away by sparks that would ripple over their bodies, making snapping noises that broke the uneasy quiet of the night.] *mumbles something about robots and sleep schedules as he tries to take this all in* ...Okay... Uh, what are they doing there? And who was using the magnet? "Well, I tried to access the company work schedule to find out, and… nobody. It seems to have been running on an automated system."*Muffled voice* "Apparently it has to do with a treaty with Rinam. I'm… afraid I depolarized the main magnet in the process of getting them down. I'm sorry sir, I'll pay to fix—"*Agitated voices* "More on that later. Would be easier if phones had video feeds… Some of my brothers are here with me right now. We need to go through the yard to make sure all the children got out."*There's a buzz noise as someone else joins the line.* "It would help if we had access to the camera system. And for the rest of the automated systems to be temporarily put offline."[Nico apparently realizes he never answered the first question, because he adds another comment.]"They seem to have been teleported here by the Maverick Hunters."((A mirror city full of monsters? This way! =) *heads off in a direction vaguely toward the square, but also trying to steer away from the junkybots*soldier: *nervous laugh* X, it's me, Grind. Long story short, I need new clothes. About as well as can be expected. Is Cossack back?

I must admit I am puzzled by this, myself.
It's for Snakey. His armor's messed up pretty bad. Normally Miss Ky helps with repairs, but she's out of country at the moment… something about monsters and treasure and weapons.
Another glory quest? At a time like this?
Well, she HAS been gone for quite some time anyway…
More on that later. So, is he really going to fix Viper?
That's a good question. I don't think he knows himself, yet. But the sight of Viper as he is now, well…

Look, guys, I really can't do much, okay? Don't poke around with my camera system, you'll just set off all the self-destruct modes. That's a lose-lose situation. So don't go there.
Why won't you help us? :c
Maybe because, I dunno, I got crushed to death by a dragon? *Clearly irritated*
If you had dragon troubles, you could have just asked me for help… *Interrupts* Okay guys, I'm hooked up to the mainframe. We're going to start our thorough search of the scrapyard.

@torkie10 There was a quick movement on the cameras, near the edge of the junkyard.---- Kana didn't notice Cardinal's mental chatting because she was busy escorting Van to the rescue bots and talking with their commander. After receiving instructions the two took Van to the side as other groups teleported out. ... Din: We'll make this quick. Hi, I'm Din, and this is my partner, Rockwell. Din hesitated, looking at the Reploid's hand. Her eyebrows drew downward at their outside corners and she took a step forward. Bypassing the hand, she went in for a hug. ... *tenses up at the hug* *gently pushes her off* Woah! I just met you! Let's save the touchy-feely stuff for when we know each-other, okay? Now let's go find some kids! Grind: *nods* Okay. Just tell me what I need to do. ... We need you to help set up a perimeter. *points in the general direction that Axl happens to be in* Just stand somewhere near the edge of the city. Fill in a gap if possible. Once everyone's in place - which should be soon - we'll all slowly move toward the square, gathering up any tyros along the way. This way, hopefully no tyros will escape. *tapping foot impatiently* robot: That answers my next question. Do you mind if I send mental messages to the others? Technically I'm supposed to signal that I'm communicating when I'm around someone not included in that chat by using my quire, but it's not as fast as MMs. Go ahead. Do whatever's most efficient. r.girl: *sighs, walks away from the elf, and rolls her eyes* robot: *goes up to Iris* Hey, thanks for watching over these kids. Do you know why they're here? <_< *flies off to find someone who does know where the tyros are supposed to go to* *shakes head* I'm afraid I don't. I'm glad we could get them to you. I hope everything goes well finding the others. The junkbot continued to walk to the tyros, and began talking with them. They responded back in the same language.tyro: It's okay! She says she can take us home! *voice starting to get louder with worry* Do you recognize her as someone who's supposed to take you home?! Does she know anything that only someone who's supposed to take you home would know?!*heard from above* I doubt it! *jumps down from the top of a building in front of the tyros, facing the junky-bot, arm-cannon ready* And she's not going to hurt the tyros if I have any say in it! ((This is going really slowly. It's been over a month and the real search hasn't begun. I propose that we timeskip over most of the perimeter-prepping, tyro-searching, and other such straightforward stuff, and only RP out events or meetings with particular significance. I don't think all sections would need to be timeskipped at once, as long as we do each of them at some point soon-ish.))

*Optional "Human Form" get* (( The Scrac that Smiles Back: What exactly do you mean by this part?)) Rockwell teleported the other two robots with her to their allocated zone. Din switched on the search lights in her shoulders and looked around the strip mall parking lot they had teleported to. *glances around the large parking lot, which is empty at this late hour* *raises his head, standing with arms akimbo* Well, this should be a snap! ((Timeskip?)) X's hand went through the facade. Grind's shoulder was warm, soft, and felt like skin.Grind: *grins* Axl, I'm really happy that you're okay. I'll help with the current mission before celebrating, as long as I get to hear all the details later! And as long as we don't run into any Rinians. I could get in a lot of trouble for impersonating an officer like this. Or soldier. I'm not sure what she was. ... *pulls his hand back as soon as he realizes that what she feels like* ?!? .. ... Sorry, do I know you? robot: Agreed. Now, about what you said... what is "Rinam has resources to spare" supposed to mean, exactly? It sounded kind of bad. Like you were mocking my country. ... It basically means that you have enough personnel that you don't need to send all of them to handle something on a large scale, like what's going on now. And that you might even have someone on break, because you have that many people. I'm not sure how it could be an insult. robot: Darn. Well, my break was almost over anyway. Thanks for your help. You're welcome. And good luck. The 'leader' tyro fell down. She got back up, and tried to run around Protoman. The junkbot paused and looked back. *letting go of his shield, quickly gets to his feet and grabs the leader by the arm* Kid, think! Doesn't she look like something that would eat you up? Or do anything else monsters would do?

The junkbot look-out spotted Nico in time to warn her companions of the approach. With much haste they fled, knocking over and running into various metal objects in the process. Guys, I'm seeing a lot of movement—
Yeah, something is knocking over some scrap metal! Sounds like more than one person.
Be careful out there! I can't rewind the footage, I didn't catch a good look, sorry… *Uses his magnetism to clear the way as they go through the yard* Gemini: *Checks along the way to make sure there are no Tyros trapped under debris*Kana noted the surprised looks and felt obligated to talk to one of Cardinal's brothers about the location choice.Kana: -to whoever's closest- Do you see the mowed lawns, trimmed hedges, and de-weeded flower beds? That kind of mass plant mutilation would upset most Rinamians, so I need Earthbots to cover these areas. *Runs a finger along the edge of a boomerang* Personally, I never understood how people have the time to keep it like that. Makes sense enough, though I'm not sure if any of us have actually been out somewhere like this… Most of us actually lived in a desert. I'm not used to this much green. -after Cardinal's directions- Kana: Cardinal? Could I ride with you? I don't have the endurance to sustain a windboard for long periods of time. *Thinks about this* (I don't think I have a spare helmet… but I guess as long as we don't go too fast, it shouldn't be a problem.) Sure, alright. Just hold on and let me know if it's going too fast. I don't really have a spare helmet, sorry… but it should be okay if we're careful. -elsewhere in the area- In the backyard of one unsuspecting suburbanite, a group of tyros played among lawn ornaments. Two of them wandered curiously around a pool, which had its cover on.—Meanwhile, Driving Along— It puzzles me that we are not using aerial surveillance.
I'm the only one who can fly decently, and there's no way I'm leaving you twerps to your own devices, especially in a place like this. If you panic we'll end up dead or talking to Klavier from the other side of the glass faster that you can say "Oops".
Your vote of confidence, as always, is overwhelming.((You know, I would find it endlessly amusing if one of these turned out to be Edgey's house. *Laughs*)) *Cardinal whistles loudly, the tune shrill from the ride in the open air. It seemed piercing and out of place in the neat and orderly area, the song of a boy alone in the heart of the city. If nothing else, though, it would catch attention, which presumably was his reason for playing it.*
