She blushed and smiled at Koris, wishing she could see his face. Imagining his expression using the scans she took earlier was not as satisfying as she thought it would be when she took the scans.
Aneirin: You’re very kind too. It’s really no trouble for me. It doesn’t take long to run through each sector looking for a world that matches the picture you sent me, and I’m using twenty of my thoughts for the search. I should be done in an estimated time of 15 minutes, assuming only the last result is a match.
She wondered how so many of the Quarians’ records could have been lost. Even if the Geth gained control over the machines that held the records, the Quarians surely taught their young the history of their people. And they would all know what the planet was like, having been there. They could create new records. Did they neglect to do so because they believed they would return to the planet within their own lifetime? That meant the rest of their lives and their children’s lives and maybe their children’s children’s lives were spent preparing for war. Reflecting on this, and despite her desire to visit a Quarian ship, Aneirin felt relieved the Quarian fleet wasn’t in the area. That caused her to feel sad, because Koris missed his people, and guilty because he had just told her she was nice.
She blushed and smiled. Koris really was lovely. But Han in Soulstice? A mental image of a monster version of Koris appearing in her head, hateful words spewing from his mouth to the crying Digitals that surrounded him. Aneirin didn’t want to introduce her friends to Han, much less all the Digital worlds. But what if Koris was right, about it making Han more accepting?
Aneirin: It’s really no trouble, Koris. I’ve a thought: what about pictures for Han? Of you and myself, when you come to Soulstice. Or videos. A teaser!
