My winter dance recital went well! I previously was very anxious for it, since I had missed classes. Yesterday my dance shoes went missing, and we had to by new ones that weren't broken in, but they stayed on the entire performance. They came off constantly when I practiced on the rug, but there was a spot on the dance floor for me so I was perfectly fine! I was light-headed since I forgot to eat lunch, but mom found some pretzels, and I was back with it. I didn't make any big mistakes this year!

Well, it took me 12 years, but I finally got in the NT... but only as an editorial submission. lol But they finally actually accepted one of my questions! It is so warm today, I can open my windows. It is so warm, that the loudest sound outside is all the snow melting and running into the gutters. The air smells glorious. It is spring in the winter.

After a month and a half of having no laptop and having to use a PC, I finally have my laptop back! 8D I had to use a mac desktop all through November, so this made it difficult/impossible to get any writing done at Nanowrimo write-ins. Notebooks and pencils aren't quite the same when you're struggling for word count.

ahhhhhh yesyesyes. I love it when work asks me to change my schedule and it works in my favor. Now, I can actually see my extended family longer than 30 minutes on the 26th because I don't need to work the next day! Goodbye, yucky 2am shift! I never wanted you anyway.

!!! *doubletake* I'm a big fan of Kristina on youtube. I comment in her videos sort of regularly, I guess, and she's actually replied to me a couple of times, which always makes my day, but I never expected that! That's super cool! =D

The periodic table of elements poster that I ordered for my sister from DFTBA arrived this morning! It's my present for her this year but I never thought it'd actually arrive in time! It's a Christmas miracle! 8D
