Helloooo, fresh organic fruit and veggies that I just brought home. Pleased to eat you.
Oh goodness I just got two loaves of my favorite semi-semolina bread from the little oriental bakery and IT'S SO FLUFFYYYY it's like I'm eating a BREADCLOUD!

Today is an incredibly lovely day. It finally doesn't feel like the middle of February anymore!

My kitty cat is happily rolling over on the sunny balcony and he let me rub his white tummy fluff. So fluffy! FLOOOOF!!! *squeals and flails her tentacles*

...Cthulu? First time writing creatively under serious constraints. It's exhilarating.

IT'S ALIIIIIVE IT BOOTS
yeah, I know, I've "built" a computer using ancient parts in high school classes before, but there's something different when it's all brand new parts and it cost you quite a bit of money and you get to keep it afterwards.
Despite not yet having a case or operating system or any drives connected, I'd call this a success.
(This was after being paranoid that the power supply was defective since when I had to turn it on (without the power button, so you have to short the two pins with a conductive object), it didn't work... because it was a non-conductive screwdriver I was using. =_= Paper clip worked fine, though.)

Y'know when you're drawing like it's going out of style and then slowly you stop because your ability to critique your art has caught up with your ability to art and suddenly everything looks awful? so you stop drawing and it's kind of sad but at least it's better than making bad things?
and then one day you doodle on a paper then you find your sketchbook and draw a couple of silly things and suddenly you're back on track and it's great
I'm not quite back on track yet but drawing is fun again

Today: sky entirely blue, 25° C (about 77° F), even warmer in sunny spots.
*stretches and poses under the sun* OHOHOHOHOHOHO.
(It had better last until the weekend so I can go to the beach. :K)

Warm and sunny enough today that I could drive home without my coat or the heater on ^^ Nice turnaround from a day that started cold enough that I wore my gloves out to the car this morning.

I HAVE A PHONE NOW No, I did not have a phone before now. Ever. Yes, that's weird. Yes, I have obtained one. Yes, finally. Yes, it's an old-fashioned plastic brick and not a smartphone. But I HAVE A PHONE NOW

It is amazing how much one can grow in their art in simply a year.

It is amazing how much one can grow in their art in simply a year. ...I just was about to post something like this. On another note, while I regret having to go on leave, I realize now that without that experience I wouldn't have rediscovered my passion for art. ^^ The future seems so much brighter now.
