((Brassport - Ninja HQ))
(downstairs)
Toshiro sighs and waves for Owen to come inside.
"For future reference. Our headquarters start in the upper floors. The first several are still owned by the original residents of the building. I don't know what kind of private cat you want, but there seems to be a emergency going on in these lands. We were all ready having a small meeting of our own."
(upstairs)
He walks up to the meeting room and stops outside the door.
"You're welcome to join us. But I am not sure we can gather a breakfast for you..."
He opens the door to find Gil tapping back on the machine.
"Gil... What are you doing?"
Gil Maxwell grins and points to the machine.
"She blinked at me! I think it was was morse code, but I never bothered to learn it myself. I let Leena handle messages for me."
Toshiro sighs and leans in, looking at what Gil was tapping. Most of it was complete gibberish, but he did manage to say something about a.... buffalo in his bed.... He groans and looks at the shutters on the probe, seeing what it said.
"It says that it's Spacefleet, and wants to know who you are."
Toshiro grabs a piece of paper and holds it up for the lens, naming themselves and that they were at the Ninja HQ in Brassport.
"For now, let's put the machine to the side and get back to business. Zombies, armies, world is doomed. What are we going to do about it?"
Gil looks at everyone, then back to the machine. He seemed a bit disappointed but nods in agreement.
"We'll probably need to form a group and head down there ourselves somehow. We need to scope this out first hand. Possibly close the gates to Brassport to keep out these invaders."
He eyes the machine again, fidgeting some.
((Mage Manor))
Dragus stood facing Brick and his army of zombies when there were loud noises everywhere.
"I mustn't run away. I need to stand here and fight."
Before he knew it, total chaos followed. He was unaware what was going on, but he tried to focus on Brick. When the barrier fell, he pulls his sword out and points it directly at Brick.
"In the name of the kingdom of Dunburrow, explain yourself."
((Along the Ebi River, close to town, North of Mage Manor))
Draco walked up to a town. He forgot what it was called, but did remember that were known for apples. However the town seemed to be smoldering, or at least most of it. He walks slowly through the town, taking note of the emptiness of it all. Buildings burning, some all the way down to nothing, others still look untouched. The strangest thing about it all, the fact there were no one to be seen.
"This is sort of creepy."
"You're telling me. I share your body, but even I can feel shivers run down my spine."
"I can't see a whole town disappearing, even if it's been destroyed like this."
He picks up a doll on the ground.
"It will if they've been turned into zombies."
"All of them? There has to be some people..."
"You're right. Let's just get out of here."
"In a minute."
He continued to walk through the streets. He started to notice some people peeping out of holes and cracks in some of the more in tact buildings. Placing the doll back on the ground, he smiles to himself and runs out of the town.
((Further North))
The mass of ninjas continued to march. They left the town they were going to wait in, fearing a battle within the town itself. They instead intended to walk further south and camping out at the halfway point.

((Mage Manor))
Bacon had immediately drawn his weapon at the sight of the zombie, but by the time he could get a clear shot at it Amneiger had already struck it with a table. Instead, Bacon ran up to the window to lay down covering fire on any other zombies in the area.
"We need to get out of here! I can call a shuttle to get us if we can get outside. We're going to have to use the back door."
Bacon paused from firing through the windows at the zombies to nod affirmation of the comment. He considered asking Cal for fire support, but between the Manor itself, any other mages in the area, and themselves, there was too much likelihood of the ship hitting something or someone he wasn't supposed to.
He glanced out the window again. A shambling not-quite-corpse was getting a little too close for comfort. Bacon shot it once in the head, but either due to the miracle of undeath or simply pure random chance the shot didn't bring the beast down. Bacon gritted his teeth and fired at the zombie's torso a few times.
Turning to Amnei, he half-shouted "Lead the way, sir. I'll cover our six."
((Spacefleet HQ - somewhere))
Andy tapped a pencil on the desk in front of him. He didn't know where the pencil had come from, he suddenly realized. Most everything in the Fleet was done electronically, in some form or another. It almost surprised him that he even knew what a pencil was, much less that he was holding one.
He knew his commanding officer was right. He had screwed up again. He wasn't meant to do this; he just wasn't cut out for being a comm officer. He had always known that. He knew what he was meant to do, but he didn't know if he could do it.
Things were different now. Things were exactly the same. Andy tapped the pencil a few more times. It had been a long time, but it still felt like yesterday... when...
Andy dropped the pencil and stood up. He knew what he had to do.

-Brassport- "For future reference. Our headquarters start in the upper floors. The first several are still owned by the original residents of the building. I don't know what kind of private cat you want, but there seems to be a emergency going on in these lands. We were all ready having a small meeting of our own."
"Oh, my thing is probably related to yours. These things usually are."
Owen followed Toshiro into the headquarters. "You're welcome to join us. But I am not sure we can gather a breakfast for you..."
Breakfast? I already had breakfast, I just want a bit more food.... hmm. Maybe I need to cut back on my eating a little.
He watched as Gil and Toshiro discussed the Spacefleet tech, and almost facepalmed* when the ninja held up a sign saying where they were. Oh come on, we could have taken that thing to bits... these guys have no respect for the advancement of technology in this city.
"For now, let's put the machine to the side and get back to business. Zombies, armies, world is doomed. What are we going to do about it?"
"We'll probably need to form a group and head down there ourselves somehow. We need to scope this out first hand. Possibly close the gates to Brassport to keep out these invaders."
"Woah, woah woah," he paused for a moment, then decided to add another 'woah' for good measure. "First of all, if anybody is going to close the gates of Brassport, I think it should be me. You know, mayor, in charge of the city, technically top of the militia, etc.? And quite frankly, I have no reason to believe that there's any immediate danger. I'm not about to shut down trading and risk a panic, or more likely a riot, without seeing one of these zombies standing within shooting distance of the city walls. And even then I'd find out if it's a brain-eating zombie or just one of the many undead who fall right into the market of people looking for a fancy-looking timekeeping device."
Owen took a breath, thinking of what to do. "Right now, you've mentioned the zombies and end of the world, and the only thing I've heard is a shadow over Mage Manor. Everything's a bit vague, so we should definitely find out more about what's going on. That being said, I don't want to draw attention to ourselves, there's no reason to get involved if we can avoid it. After all, any or all of this could be misinformation or misunderstanding, and we need to be a little cautious." And the longer I can avoid having to choose sides when it comes to the Mages, the better.
"I sent some scouts to have a look, if we leave soon enough we should be setting off just as they come back, so we'll hear a bit more of what's going on. We'll take my personal airship, it's fitted with a few... things that could be useful. We'll take the Spacefleet tech too, we don't know what it is and I don't want it lying around. They can chase after us if they need it that badly. I understand you ninja types have some messenger birds, could you send word ahead to Central Airbase so they can prepare for our arrival?"
*He would have, except that a steam powered metal hand to the face hurts, even on low settings.
-Castle Kestrel- Jina watched as Miss Jensen left on her horse. ...That thing's almost as scary as the Blarf. Speaking of which... She looked around, and saw the Blarf down outside the castle. Aha! So the others must be inside. Hmm, now... do I go inside and look for them, or wait for them to come running out with the loot ready to escape on the Blarf?
Deciding she felt rather lazy, she went over to sit next to the Blarf. "Hello there Blarfykins. Hope you're not too tired, I have a feeling we might be going for a run soon."

Mage Manor:
Krisseh tried to regain her composure... but was quickly startled when something picked her up. Her feet were lifted off the ground, leaving her helpless.
"I know your type..." she gulped. This was big trouble now. "You ventured too far into that dark realm, and came out changed. Broken, but strengthened. You are dangerous."
She tried to nod with her head, but being grabbed by one hand, its pretty hard to. The two thousand old Plus eyes gazed into her very soul, and then some.
"Obey me, and I will lead you to glory. But if you choose to defy me, I will destroy you."
Without a moment of notice, her instinct... or what was left of it, responded.
"yes sire."
Once given the order to undo what she did, she was released from Hella's grip. Immediately, she started to undo all of the dessmute'd zombies that had fallen into her path. She thought she saw a glimpse of other mages, like tiger... but it could've been her mind. all she saw now were zombies, and allies. her leaders.
The manor was theirs, now.

The impact had hurt worse then she foreseen, since she wasn't landing flat on the ground and falling on objects generally hurts. The pain rippled through her flesh, but not quite strong enough that she had to consciously power through the pain not to morph back. As a big elephant the effect wasn't too bad, but Ellen always been sensitive to pain.
Gah! It only touched two of them... and it didn't even appear to phase one of them! I can't hold this form much longer. I already am so weak from all the shifting... this is my last form for a while. Elephant took a lot of power... but I must stay in it as ling as possible....
She felt focused, sharp, shoves against her tough, elephantine skin from Brick. He was incredibly strong, and it was sharply painful since the force was hardly well distributed. Still, she rolled over on her side on top of him, trying to pin him down entirely, and crush him a bit more. Then she heard the manor fall...
No.
She sees a boy approach Brick and brandish a blade in front of him.
Good. The boy is confronting him.
Suddenly, the piles of confections reanimate into zombies.
Her spell wore off?... I THINK- I THINK WE ARE DOOMED!
Distracted, one well aimed blow pierced her thick hide, but didn't quite lift her up. She cried out an elephantine screech, which morphed into a young girl's wail, as her pain threshold was crossed and she returned to he regular form.
She fell a half a dozen feet, from her elephant height, and landed beside Brick. She forced herself on her knees, and, clutching her wound, she fumbled in her bag with her spare hand, looking for her spare pain-numb potion. She smiled a bitter smile, the kind one makes just prior to bursting into hysterics. She grasped her dagger instead, and held her persuasion potion between her teeth.

Azalea hovered there, trying to think of anything but the pain in her foot, when a horrifying sound pierced the air. It sounded so unNTWFly that she was certain at first that it was the sound of a zombie dying. But then she felt it- something terrible and heavy and dark and yet quite unlike the Librarian, who was still fighting on the ground. She felt oddly grateful to him; he certainly didn't seem to be losing focus as she'd feared he would. But she had no idea what the change in the air was and she didn't like it.
Now that she could see a bit more, she felt her stomach sink. There were undead all around the Manor's walls, and many of the mages were fleeing rather than fighting. All things considered, she thought they were pretty smart, and flew down to where she saw a giant bird.
"Room for one more?" Azzie asked, landing anyway beside Tiger. She bit her lip to avoid screaming- she had accidentally put weight on her foot- and carefully worked her way into a sitting position.

Castle Kestrel library
Hunty listened to Zylaa's suggestion with no apparent emotions on her face. Then she mulled it over for a bit.
"I could kiss you right now," she eventually said.
"Wayhey, I'm still here," Bloody Mary piped up on her shoulder.
"Yes, you make a point of that," Hunty said gruffly. "Alrighty then. Time's a-wasting, especially in a war."
She sidled back to the chalk circle where Death was still standing with the dignified disapproval of a foreign diplomat who's been taken to a disco.
"Yes, so," she said brightly. "And where would we find the remaining three Horsemen?"
CONSIDER THIS A ONE-BY-ONE QUEST, said Death. ONE WILL SEND YOU TO THE NEXT. I'LL SEE MYSELF OUT.
And suddenly, the circle was empty.
"Can he actually do that?" asked Justice, the meepit who'd been in charge of the key points of the spell, craning her neck at the book. "I think we were supposed to release him when we saw fit."
"We were also supposed to only ask him one question, probably with 'oh revered lord of the deceased' and such thrown in," Hunty replied. "Big on etiquette, those old officials. So, hey, Archmage?"
She turned to Celestial. "Here's the thing. Your folks are currently out there somewhere, probably getting their brains sucked out as we speak, suffering from unimaginable horrors and etcetera, and here you just heard the key to victory with no more unnecessary bloodshed involved. Isn't this the time to surrender, call off all mages and stop giving our glorious new leader convenient reasons to whack everyone upside the head? I mean, I'd think that it's much easier to quietly track down Horsemen as per Death's instructions if you don't have to hack through a horde of zombies every step of the way."

((Castle Kestrel))
Buying the favours of the harbingers of the apocalypse with gifts, huh? Well, that was certainly better than sacrificing a virgin on the summer solstice, according to Celestial. She was about to reply when the two zombies walked in, causing her to hide behind the nearest bookshelf until they were gone, only coming out to hear Death's final words.
As Zylaa stepped away to talk with her captain, Celestial turned back to Death, thinking about where the first Horseman was. Her first instinct was a pub. A pub was just like a battlefield with beer, especially around closing time when everyone was getting a little bit rowdy.
She turned to Hunty and listened to the proposal. She considered it for a brief moment. An all-out assault on Jensen was out of the question by now. Far easier to go underground. Besides, she had always wanted to lead her own resistance force. It would also be much easier to find the Horsemen when they weren't being tracked, as the pirates said.
"Alright, fine. However, I do have conditions. In exchange for our surrender, I want information. If you find the Horsemen, you have to tell me. I don't care how, smoke signals, sending the Blarf with a note, whatever. Just tell me. Consider it an exchange, since no doubt having us out of the picture would make your employer happy," she said, looking Hunty right in the eye. "As soon as you agree, I will leave and order the surrender."
((Mage Manor))
Despite itself, the creature listened to Alabaster. It did not like how much he knew but he did have a good point. If it surrendered, it could go back to its books. If the Manor let it, of course. The Manor never liked sharing its space with an underdeepling and only tolerated him because he never did anything besides the books. But if it betrayed it, it might never let it back in again. It would get to save its books but it would never be allowed to see them again.
Suddenly, it felt the Manor's defences let go. It had fallen. It really did not matter anymore. But to its surprise, the librarian felt a slight twinge of sadness. While it did not have emotions per say, it had gotten to know the Manor. Its presence was a constant and now that it was gone, things suddenly felt very insecure.
The librarian yanked several zombies out of the Manor's entrance but they kept swarming. It had no choice.
"Fine, Alabaster. Get your zombies out of here. and give the Manor to me. I shall make sure nobody enters it, mage or zombie. I am keeping my books safe, away from all of you. Without its defences, the Manor is a mere symbol. You need somebody to keep it for you, don't you? You would be able to direct your forces elsewhere instead of occupying the Manor and I would have my books. We both win," it hissed, letting Alabaster go and retreating back into the Manor, pushing out the zombies and occupying the empty shell of the Manor.
It rose above the Manor and the head of the librarian appeared at the end of the tendril and called out to everyone, Mage and Spacefleet.
"Run. This place has fallen. Go wherever you want. Go to the Archmage. Go to your leader. Don't come back here. If you do, I will be forced to kill you," it told them without a trace of emotion in its voice.

"Fine," Amneiger said to Zephyr. "Let's go. Only fight the ones that are in our way."
Amneiger dashed down the halls of Mage Manor again, going through through the hallway he and Bacon had met Zephyr in. Fortunately there hadn't been time for the zombies to actually start to fill up the Manor yet, so the halls were relatively clear.
The back of the Manor was more clear of zombies than the front, but there were still several shambling figures that had wandered around from the front and were starting to close in. Amneiger pulled out his commlink. "We need evac, now. Bacon and I found a mage whom we're bringing with us. Hurry, before the zombies get here."
"Roger," came the reply. The shuttle lifted itself out from behind the tree cover it had been concealed in and came back down in front of Amneiger. He jumped into the open door and turned back around to Bacon and Zephyr. "Come on."

((Skies over Dunburrow)) Miss Jensen was halfway to Mage Manor, flying high enough to see for miles around. Somewhat to her surprise, she received a telepathic message from Alabaster. She had hoped for a better outcome--but then, she had also planned for far worse. This was probably the best she could have asked for, given the Librarian's sudden appearance.
She turned the horse around in a wide, sweeping arc, and returned to the Castle. She would need to save that spear.
--------
((Mage Manor)) Alabaster received his commander's message. "Very well," he answered the Librarian. "These terms are acceptable. Make sure all of the Mages are cleared out as soon as possible, and we will do the same."
Like a wave that lapped halfway up the shore before suddenly deciding it didn't want to be there after all, the zombies stopped for a moment, paused to consider, and retraced their paths back out of the Manor. One particular zombie, with its head still burning, climbed lazily out the window and down again.
"In the name of the kingdom of Dunburrow, explain yourself." "Explain myself?" Brick asked, craning his neck back toward Dragus. "Everybody needs a hobby," he quipped, grinning. "I bench-press large animals in my off time. People tell me I should take up gardening, but where's the fun in that?" The grin grew wider, and he let out a loud bark of laughter. The elephant shrunk, taking the form of a girl. Brick got up and turned to Dragus, while still keeping an eye on Ellen. "Really, though. Dunburrow's new leader...forcibly recruited us. Your mage friends look to be pulling back; I'd suggest you do the same.
"As for you--" Brick turned to Ellen. "You're a bold one, all right. Dropping yourself on three ancient heroes of legend, or whatever it is they're calling us, takes more guts than I've seen in most soldiers twice your size. But you need practice." One hand began to glow, and he clapped it gently over the worst of Ellen's wounds. With the other hand, he took the dagger, and the potion from her teeth. "I was never that good with healing magic, but that should do until you find a proper healing mage." Holding the potion up to the sunlight, his eyes widened. "Did you make this?"
--------
((Spacefleet)) The cadet's query clearly got a response. The difficult part was deciphering it, since the part that was in Morse made no sense whatsoever, and the written part was blurry. Brassport, that much was obvious. And as far as she could tell, the people visible in the picture were Gii Mazwell, Toshim, and Ovven Camobn. There was really no telling who was who.
It was outside of her authority, and on top of that it really wasn't her business, but the cadet was suddenly interested in trying to establish contact with these people. She chose the most pressing matter at hand, and tapped out another message.
"Zombies down there. Do you need help?"
Fraze continued to monitor the situation on the surface. The zombies started pouring into the manor--and then back out again, along with the mages. He opened a channel to both Bacon and Amnei. "What's the situation down there?" he asked. "Looks like everyone's leaving, what happened?"
Before he could get an answer, there was another message. "Commander? This is Alaric. Request permission to take a defense shuttle to orbit the planet. I believe I will be more useful to the defense of Spacefleet and the planet in that position." Fraze wracked his brain, trying to remember anyone by that name, before finally giving up and searching for it. Defense engineer, local. On the one hand, he was surprised to get a request directly from an engineer, rather than a superior of a superior of said engineer; on the other hand, he appreciated being addressed directly. "Very well," he responded. "But it is imperative that you stay out of visual range of the zombies, and make sure to contact me before taking any action. Try to contact Prof. Amneiger and Capt. Bacon; I think they could use some support."

Mage Manor:
Krisseh had set to work, reverting the zombies to their regular form, when suddenly, she felt a new order.
Get out.
Finishing up one final zombie, she threw herself out of a window, with no regard of what was on the bottom. Landing with a slight splat, she noticed a giant misty eagle, with various mages on it. A sadistic smile grew on her face, as she threw a jellify spell at one of the mages on board, hoping on the off chance it hit, to cause some chaos.
Immediately afterword, she hurried over to the nearest general, and awaited for more orders. After all, she was a pawn in the scheme of things.

Dragus glances around quickly, not turning away from Brick. He sheathes his blade.
"Tsk... Tactically you are correct."
He watches as Brick performs a bit of first aid.
"So you're being forced? You seem like a good person otherwise. Have you tried fighting back at all?"
((Brassport - Ninja HQ))
Gil looked at Owen.
"The only reason locking up the city would be a good idea, is so that the outbreak can't enter. Most townspeople are still afraid to leave the safety of the city, so I don't think there would be much resistance. Those who really want to leave would just fly out if they wanted."
He stares at the probe again, noticing it doing it's blinking thing again. He motions for Toshiro or something to look. Toshiro only gives a thumbs up to the probe.
Gil turns back to the others again and stands up.
"So if we're going to head out, we better get going."

Ellen trembled as she failed to rise off of her knees. The she gripped her dagger weakly, trying to ignore the sharp pains, and the puddle of her blood forming under her. She glanced upward, and saw many of the Mages, her guild, taking off with her still there. The color withdrew from her skin. She listened as Brick exclaimed his "motive"... his forced service!
I pity him!. I would hate to be torn out of my grave and made someone's servant. That contemptible woman!
Ellen was surprised at his assessment of her.
Wow... He's more affable than I would have thought...But- He's still the enemy!
She saw him raise a glowing hand, and since she could hardly budge, she braced herself for a strike. As he reached out for her side, she flinched. She was shocked when she felt, instead of a blow, a soft touch, as her wounds began to heal. In her state of disbelief, she failed to notice as he disarmed her.
"You... you healed me!" Ellen exclaimed, her eyes opening wide. "OH! Thank you!" She bobbed her head respectfully, then clutched her braid in nervous habit.
"...Wait. I'm talking... meaning... you took my stuff... How had I not noticed?" She held her arms up to guard her vitals, then she drew in her breath and answered his question. She was very wary of him, but she indulged him with an answer since he bothered to heal her.
"Yes, the potion is from my own efforts, though the brew itself is ancient. Potions are my hobby, though that one in particular was rather difficult."

-Castle Kestrel- Ahhh... Jina liked relaxing. As much as she enjoyed pirating, the chance to sit around doing nothing was always welcome. the problem, of course was that something usually happened that needed sorting out. But with nobody around that won't happen this time. Ahhhh...
"Uhhhh...."
...I need to learn not to tempt fate. It's almost like there's someone controlling my life and constantly making me do "interesting" things for their own entertainment.
"Braiinn..."
...Oh please let this not be a zombie. Please please please please please.... She opened her eyes, and saw a zombie stumbling towards her. She grabbed the dagger next to her. "Come any closer and I stab you."
The zombie paused, and stared at her for a second, blinking. "Umm... okay, that's a bit rude really. Normally when I meet new people I just say 'Hi, I'm Ben.' But whatever floats your boat, I'll go nurse my headache somewhere else I-" Suddenly, the zombie fell to the floor, undeath-less.
Jina decided to ignore the zombie and go back to relaxing.
Minutes later, Ben stood up again. "Man, my brain is throbbing. I keep on dying and undying, ever since they turned me into a zombie. It's very weird, I was speaking to a friend of mine who's a doctor and he said something about necrolepsy but I don't really know what that means, and..."
Jina sighed, realising as the zombie sat down that he wasn't going to go away or stop talking. Alright Jina, just keep ignoring him.
-Brassport- "The only reason locking up the city would be a good idea, is so that the outbreak can't enter. Most townspeople are still afraid to leave the safety of the city, so I don't think there would be much resistance. Those who really want to leave would just fly out if they wanted."
"Well sure, but then they start wondering why the gates are shut. And when the militia tell them the truth - that it's just a precaution - they'll suddenly get suspicious that there's an army standing right outside about to kill everybody. Don't ask me why, people just don't seem to trust authority. I bet they wouldn't even believe it if they flew up for themselves and saw that there was nothing there. It'd be all 'Oh no, we're going to all be killed from below by an army of giant moles!' and everyone would start taking to the airships to avoid the underground threat, and then of course there's bound to be mid-air crashes. Basically, I'm not shutting the gate unless we can tell people there's a zombie standing right outside," said Owen. He looked around the room, and suddenly realised that there were probably a few dozen ninjas in the room that he couldn't actually see. "I don't want to overload the airship, so only four or five people better come along. Let's go"
He headed downstairs, and started the engine of the tank while waiting for the others to get on.

((Mage Manor Airspace))
"Room for one more?
"Plenty. I can't get to anyone else!" Tiger slowed the eagle's flight so Azzie could get on. "You have blasting magic, right? Some sort of color beams? If you can clear out some of these zombies, I can - "
Tiger cut herself off as the Librarian suddenly withdrew, its dark form filling the manor and shoving zombies out. For a moment, she thought the creature was just defending their home with a new tactic, but the message it drolled over the battlefield proved otherwise.
"It's right," Tiger growled. "Let's get the others - we can go to Brasspor - " Tiger glanced back down and saw a spell hurtling toward the bird, her, and Azzie. Cursing, she twisted the bird to the side so its wing took the spell. She'd never had reason to consider the effects of a jellify spell on one of her mist animals, but now she had a very affirmative answer.
They worked.
The bird was turning to jelly, a horrid-looking gray-green goop. The bird started to tilt to the side despite the rapid beating of its working mist wing to make up for the dying limb; they were going down.
"Hang on!" Tiger shouted to Azzie, probably unneccesarily, as she started the bird on a dive. She sqeueezed her eyes shut, opting instead to look through the raptor's sharper gaze. Where to land where to land -
A shuttle rose out of the trees behind the manor. Tiger saw three figures heading toward it - through the eagle's eyes, she could identify one as Zephyr, another as Amneiger, the one she'd fought the Big Bad Wolf with. Two out of three, and with an escape route handy - good enough.
"This's gonna be rough!" Tiger opened her eyes and twisted the bird toward the back of the manor. They were losing height rapidly now, and tilting to the right as the bird's entire left wing fell away in a deluge of jelly. The raptor didn't land so much as flop just feet away from the escaping Fleeters and mage, bouncing twice and knocking Tiger's teeth together. The feathers under her started to feel sticky; she jumped off the bird, reaching back for Azalea's wrist if the mage wasn't already coming. "We're joining you!" she called to Amneiger, racing for the shuttle.
