Xandra planted her paw on her face. Was she really going to have to tell the whole tragedy again? She'd had to explain this enough times, and Neopets still didn't believe her.
"Xandra is my guard for this journey," snapped Saeryennan. "I have a Faerie guardian too. If you want proof, ask my father."
She turned to Baron.
"I suppose, since you're just a Xweetok, we could all go to this ball..." Like Xandra, she put her paw to her face. What a waste of time.
"Can I come, too? And Mima?" Schala asked.
"Yes, yes, you're all invited," replied Saeryennan. "Mr. Lupe, you can meet my father and he'll explain everything to you, including Xandra. And Mr. Xweetok, you and these two girls can just have fun."
Saeryennan smiled a bit. It wasn't every day subjects got to come to important parties like this. Truth be told, she wanted to learn more about them.
Schala squealed in delight and ran to her own room to get ready.
((Yaaaaay we're going to Altador Palace! =D))

"My name, lady pseudo-Princess Ocean - I mean, Sea -is Baron Manfred Ven-somethin' something. But I'm fairly sure it starts with D, the voice told me so! HAH!" The xweetok said, giving his most dashing smile (to be honest, it was just plain creepy...in fact, everything about him was creepy) and pulling his hair backwards.
Baron's body began to fade once more until only the eyes remained.
"So many people have seen me already, I am the only one to blame. Stupid, careless Manfred. " he grumbled, "As much as it hurts me to hide my exquisite appearance - the ladies will be devastated, I know - I shall take no risks this time. Mr. Investigator, perhaps we can have some time to discuss at Mr. Altador Kingdom's birthday! AH! So many things I must ask about the paranormal!"

"Voice?" said Mima. "Is that who you were yelling at when you were pretending to play card games with Marisa?!"
She sighed. Were there more ghosts in here? She would have to talk to Miss Katare about this.
Suddenly, the door opened again and there was Schala, dressed in a lovely lavender gown and her hair up in a bun.
Mima sighed again. She was still in uniform.
"Can I use your room?" she asked her sister, who nodded.
She grabbed a fancy blue dress from her closet and left.
"Baron...uh, sir, my name is Princess Saeryennan," the princess said once Mima left. "And the correct form of address is 'your royal highness' unless we're friends."

((Fine by me, Fang! =) ))
Rhigor could not believe this.
He wanted an explanation for why one of the most inafmous supervillains in Neopian history was waltzing around in the company of supposed royals...and she slapped a hand to her face, as if Rhigor's question was not only trivial but stupid.
His jaw would have dropped if it hadn't been clenched in seething fury. "She doesn't give a dung pile what she did! All those pets 'n' faeries hurt or worse, months where pets couldn' get healin' or magic help, all the wraiths attackin', all the damage 'n' death from that fire - she doesn't care!"
He looked around the room. The girls were squealing in excitement over the stupid ball - nobody cared. Nobody. None of these vapid people gave a darn about what had happened. If Rhigor had been part fire-elemental instead of half-ghost...the room would be up in flames.
"Okay. Stop. Think. That Xandra - she's a sorceress. Maybe...maybe this's some kinda spell. Hypotism or somethin'." He tapped his toes against the floorboards. "I gotta get to the bottom'f this. Forget the ghost - there was real evil here.
Well- maybe not forget the ghost. He seemed to have some inkling what was going on - maybe the undead could resist the magic or whatever. "Sure, uh - Baron. We can talk. I s'pose if I'm invivted, I'll tag along t'this...shindig."

"Excuse me." A tall Striped Xweetok with long pink hair and clad in fuschia-and purple clothing leapt down from the rafters, holding a folding metal fan in each hand. She was clearly older than Mima or Saeryennan - she looked to be in her early twenties, at the very least. "Has anyone seen a Shadow Xweetok? I've been looking for him." She narrowed her eyes and stowed her fans away on her obi, or waist sash.

((Tiger, that italics "she doesn't give" part - was Rhigor talking out loud or not?))
Schala eyed the new Xweetok. Good thing Mima wasn't here, or she would be fuming at how many uninvited guests there were.
Unlike her sister, she wasn't about to betray Baron, who had done her no ill.
"I'm sorry," lied Schala, "but the only Xweetoks I've seen are you and X-Xandra."
Schala was still a little squeamish about Xandra, but she hadn't attacked any one of them. If she'd wanted to, she probably would have already since everyone knew who she was.
And from what she'd heard of the princess, that had to be her.
"I'm Schala, by the way," she said, seeing as she had gone this long without any of the others knowing her name.
Xandra didn't answer the newcomer. She just turned away from the Lupe. From the look on his face she could tell he didn't believe a single word she said. He hadn't heard, or he had and didn't believe in it.
A single tear fell from her right eye. She knew she'd done wrong, and she knew she'd acted out of vengeance on that horrible Fire Faerie. And she knew that she'd put lives in danger, even her friend's...she was just grateful that the only Faerie she completely trusted had survived.

(YAY! Welcome Fang, we missed you! You're an amazing RPlayer!)
"EXCELLENT!" Baron cryed, if he wasn't invisible he would've hugged Rhigor. The xweetok approached him from behind and continued to whisper, "You see, I'm having some...issues. Whispers, voices, memory flashes - including Xandra's face in them, but don't mention it - Oh, and screaming. Lots of screaming! It would be incredibly hilarious, but it turns out it's disturbing."
"Can you make it stop?" The eyes approached Rhigor's face at every word, "it's...driving...me...MAD! It's not hard to notice it, is it?"
"Oh, oh, oh! And there is this one rude guy who keeps wanting to voice out his opinions, and the other one who seems to want my head or something and there's..." Manfred paused for a split second then hid quickly behind the lupe, just in time before the stripped neopet opened the door. "her."

"Xandra?!" Miraja swiftly turned towards the sorceress, and got into a battle stance with her fans. She dashed towards Xandra and knocked her to the ground, and then pinned her with a metal fan edge at her throat. "You're supposed to be petrified you... You... WITCH!"
((Miraja can be kinda harsh.))

Xandra screamed as she was attacked.
She found herself staring right into Miraja's eyes. More small tears fell from her own.
At this, Saeryennan put her sword on the ground. She then dived forward and grabbed the back of Miraja's collar. Schala gasped in surprise.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!" she growled.

((Sae - Yes, those were Rhig's thoughts. Sorry for the confusion!))
Rhigor twitched, barely keeping from jumping in surprise at the ghost Xweetok's exclamation. He kept a neutral expression as the ghost whispered in his ear - hearing voices? That wasn't something Rhigor had dealt with before.
"I'll try to help," the Lupe whispered from the corner of his mouth. There was a lot going on.
The party was interupted quite suddenly by another Xweetok dropping from the rafters. Rhigor jumped this time, the fur on his back spiking briefly. "Uh...shadow Xweetok? What f-"
And quite suddenly, the striped Xweetok was lunging for Xandra, and potential-princess Saeryennan had sprung into action to stop her. Rhigor wondered if he should help - but whose side to be on?
The Lupe contended himself to edge between the combatants and the young Acara and Cybunny...just in case the battle spilled over. The chains around his neck tinkled and chimed against one another; sadly, they were of no use against mortal creatures. A freezing charm would be great about now.

Manfred would have laughed out loud at the situation, could this be possible? A cat fight right in front of his eyes in the middle of a school girl's room! Thank goodness she wasn't there to watch that. Trying to fcus as hard as he could, Baron turned to Rhigor. "Thank you so very much, Mister! We'll talk later, figure out what you must, do your stuff, take your time! There's no hurry - oh wait, yes there is.' The xweetok whispered, "There's just too much information going on in the same space. We're civilized gentlemen, we'll talk in a more appropriate space. Perhaps at Altador kingdom's birthday...with cake! I'll be there if you need me."
The pair of yellow eyes quickly floated towards Schala, close enough for Baron to communicate with her.
"Lady Schala, if it is of your wish, I'd like to offer you a dance tonight! You know, to repay all the kindness. Gotta go, buh-bye!" THe eyes sunk to the floor until they were no longer visible.
A few floors bellow, the pair of eyes emerged in the middle of a deserted corridor. The place was dark, but beautiful none the less: white marble collumns kept everything together, there were many doors scattered across the corridor leading to student's room. Everything was calm and silent. Baron floated happily towards the exit, singing a happy tune about birthdays, cake and a cybunny without realising he was not alone.

"Why shouldn't I?! She's the most insane Neopian ever! She makes General Kass look sane!" Miraja pulled away from the princess, and backflipped to where she was.
"Miraja!" A tall, curvy Darigan Aisha in a red-and-black robe appeared from a protal in the wall. "What's gotten into you?!" Muttering something under her breath, she trapped the Xweetok Dancer under a magick ward.
"What's gotten into me, Ashlynne?!" Miraja crossed her arms. "I could have just taken down the lunatic who took down Faerieland!"
Ashlynne sighed. "Miraja, Xandra's recovering from her fit of madness - in fact, I was coming here to give her some herbs to help her headaches go away." Ashlynne turned towards the others and curtsied. "I apologize for my friend's rashness. Miraja thinks with her fists, not with her mind." She then released her friend from the magick ward, unceremoniously dropping her to the ground.
"Oof!" Miraja got back up, rubbing her head. "I... I'm sorry, okay?" The Xweetok blushed beet red.
((These are the only two characters I'm gonna use for this for the foreseeable.))

Saeryennan landed away from Miraja, sprawled on the ground. She pulled herself up, just in time to see the newcomer apprehend the Xweetok.
"Hello, Ashlynne," said Xandra. "Th-thank you."
Schala quickly nodded to Baron before he left.
"Excuse me," she said, "but what all is happening? And what are your names? I'm Schala."
Saeryennan gave a quick curtsy to Miraja and introduced herself as princess of Altador.
Xandra got up and brushed off her dress. She was grateful Ashlynne was here, because by now she was afraid to speak, let alone tell her story.
Mima entered the room again, dressed for a ball and looking flustered.
"Are you alright, Mima?" her sister asked.
"I ran into Fiyeri," the Acara sighed. "She asked why I wasn't in uniform. I told her I was going to a ball, and she said" - Mima did a quiet impression of a screaming fit - "'Oh my Fyora, like, why am I not invited you loon' and went on some irrelevant tangent of how she was probably Princess Saeryennan's long lost sister and - wait, who are you? And where's Baron?"
She'd noticed Miraja and Ashlynne.
