Sheik Can Haz NaNo?

So. I kinda want to do NaNoWriMo this year. I'd attempted this oncce in the past, if you don't count Camp, and uhhh. I failed. Terribly. Reaaaally terribly. But maybe I can get past three pages this time around?
...hahahano. But I can try!

Sooo I was thinking about writing a zombie story.

Seriously though zombiesss. I. Want to write about them. Yesss.

So I was thinking that the MC is a high schooler. He has the girlfriend of his dreams, a spot on the soccer team, and plenty of friends.
aaand then people get a disease, die, and come back as walking corpses!

Essentially, it's aboit the MC trying to survive. Told from his perspective, yuppers.
My idea was that the disease was "cured" with a medicine, currently named derpaderp, which was the cause of the...zombification, I guess? Aside from that, bites also made people turn.

I was thinking that maybe scratches affected their condition, or contaminated food, or something. Either way, the MC turns into this mutation-ish thing that most people mistake for zombies, therefore ruling out protection from humans, but still live enough for zombies to go after, so MC has two threats hanging over his head.

I'm still trying to work it out, but I think it could maybe work if I write it well enough. Mehhh I DUNNO but that's what I'd like to do because it'd be fun! So yeah. If you have any help that you could offer me, I'd give you brownies and hugs and my eternal luff. owo

Goshdarnit I keep losing my notebook with my NaNo planning in it. XD but since I really need to ramble on about some things, I guess I can wing it. It...just will not turn out very well, that's all!

So I came up with a bunch of titles, none of which I'm super fond of, but that's okay! I'll write those down when I have mah notebook.

I also came up with a heckuva lot of ideas. Or, rather, a fair amount, but since I usally cannot brainstorm very well, I'm calling it a large amount.

Ooookay. First off, I needed to come up with a virus. Admittedly I had no idea what to do, so I just called it...oh gosh, what was it? "Xincophryum", I think?
...yeah, probably not the best ofnames, but at this point, I couldn't care less. XD

I was planning on just shortening it to Xinc, which can later be categorized into Xinc1 and Xinc2. The difference between the two is simple: 1is an injection/liquid and 2 is a gas. 1 was originally used as a vaccine to prevent the currently-unnamed virus from spreading, but it began to corrupt the DNA and turn the "treated" patients into undead creatures. Since it was putinto the bloodstream, it can be transferred through bites and the like. It can also be found in water, if it somehow managed to get in there. Iwas thinking that maybe it cannot be boiled out? But meesa sucky at this kind of stuff, so uhhhh yeah.

Xinc2 was used to rid dead bodies of the infection by gas. The bodies were kept in special warehouses called...uh....dunno yet. UM ANYWAY I'm guessing burning the bodies doesn't work for some reason?

Obviously, I'm still brainstorming. XD And I don't have my notebook with me, so hey, gimme some credit here.
