She could hear them laughing at her as she left the room, but she was really too grossed out at the idea of willingly having one’s eye removed to care about her dignity at that moment.

Not my most recent sentence, but it amused me when I passed by it on my way down the document because I was grossing out my siblings with eyeball stories again today.

Unfortunately, the bear, not intelligent enough to understand the threat of the bow, did not stop in its tracks as as Laetitia had done when Adrien had pointed the bow at her, and it instead stood up to its full height (which was really tall) and continued to attack.

So, I'm skipping a bit ahead, because I've gotten to the point of writing that I know all of the important events and when they happen, but I'm not sure what happens in the interim.
