So, getting back into writing after throwing myself into Professor Layton. Wish I knew what was going to happen between here, the one scene I have in my head, and the very end. I've decided to spoil the entire plot right here because I have been pestered to, but she probably won't check here, so it is funny. XD Now, come on, you didn't really expect me to be serious, did you? Have a picture of a super sweet bunny instead.  |

So, today I validated my novel, though I'm not done yet. Getting close, though.
I am at 70k right now and I expect it will wrap up in the next 5k, but it could be more as I still have to go backwards and write a scene I skipped last night in favor of getting out a slightly more important one.
It is kinda exciting to see it say winner on the profile, and to find out I could write 70k in 19 days. (I'm not counting the seven days I didn't touch it at all over the last two weeks.) Still hoping that I'll be inspired enough to finish before November ends, but I won't be disappointed if I don't.
This has been a totally bad thing for me. I will never get around to second drafts or editing anything because Muse is all pumped and trying to convince me we should write the six billion other ideas I have in my head because if we write like we did during NaNo we could get lots out!
*glomps Birdy* Look at what you've done. XP
Regardless, I'm kinda looking forward to next year already. =3

Posting a picture of a bunny, because my bunny is pure adorable wrapped up in ribbon made of hate. (My bunny was ebil, he probably hated me, I loved him anyway. ) Now, to make this on topic, let's listen to me ramble about my novel. The skipped scene came out to over 2k, it was what I expected it to be and a little more. I feel like there ought to be a little something more between the where I am and the ending, but I haven't a clue what it is, and I reeeeeally don't want to write the ending until I'm really at the end. But, I figure I might as well write the ending, call it done, and if a scene comes to me I can write it in and call it the beginning of the second draft. |

I just finished my NaNo. 75,181 words 172 pages, 21 days of actual writing. It feels weird, like it isn't really done yet.
But, I did it! 8DDDD
So, yeah, that ending is pretty much what I always expected it would be plot-wise, I have a feeling that writing-wise it is probably going to need the biggest overhaul of anything. It didn't help that I didn't get to sit at it uninterrupted for twenty minutes at a time, but it is done, so yay!
What am I going to do next? Well, I should finish editing other stories, start on the next draft of this, or work on my Neo stories.
Oooh, look, Harvest Moon. Yeeeeeeah, that is probably what I'll be doing. XD
But, hey, Starscream shaped cookies for all! *tosses them at you guys*
Well, this was super fun, and thanks for taking the journey with me and helping to encourage me to actually do it!
