Imagine if you will, a house. This house is a very cheerful one, and the sun is shining brightly. After all, it's not even noon yet. The fellow in the house is dressed as Rod Serling. Which basically means that he couldn't be bothered to make a costume and just put on a suit instead. In front of the house is a sign. It says: "Imagine if you will, an 'or.' This is an upper class, rich, pretentious 'or.' In fact, it is so exclusive an 'or' that only one of its clauses may be true at any given moment. Such is the implied 'or' of "trick or treat." However, this house does not appreciate such exclusive 'or's This house would prefer "trick and/or treat," but custom does not allow it." There is also a bowl with three pieces of candy in it. A cookie, a lollipop, and a chocolate bar. "Please only take x where x ϵ R and [ i|sin (x)| ]^2<= 0" Welcome to the twilight zone. You get a cookie... Take the cookie... There's no trick... Eat the cookie! Ha! You fell for my ingenious trap! That's not a cookie! It's a projection of red green and blue dots so closely melded together so as to resemble a cookie! Also, the cookie is whole grain. >:-) Ew! There's an ant on my lollipop! >:-) What's that you say? "That wasn't even my money?" Well, it was mine! I bought that candy! You have stolen money from me through the medium of the candy industry! I'll see you in court! >:-)

Lizica is extremely confused as she squints at the sign and the candy bowl through her goggles.
"What--but--I'm not really a scientist, I don't have a clue what--I'll just--"
She blindly plunges her hand into the bowl and takes the chocolate bar.
"GAH! I can't afford a lawsuit, either! What kind of crazy place IS this?! Next thing you know, Earth's going to collide with the sun or something else crazy!"

Imagine if you will, a universe of three dimensions. This universe maintains a perfect balance of velocity and gravity. Except it doesn't. You are on a large hunk of rock, spiraling at several thousand miles per hour into a furnace of fusion. The rate at which you are spiraling is comparatively slow, but it assuredly exists.
You are spiraling
Into the twilight zone.

It's not nice to trick people into taking cookies, candy or chocolate bars that have strings attached to them you know. So...I think I'll just stay here for some tea. Do you have tea?

Imagine, if you will, a selection of hot beverages so vast, that you may only consume it in Soviet Russia. Here, the hot beverages consume you.
I've treacle and toffee, I've tea and I've coffee, Soft tommy and succulent chops; I've chickens and conies, and pretty polonies, And excellent peppermint drops.
Of course, this tea is most certainly not decaf, and it's getting late. Are you sure you want to be up all night?
And remember:
You'll be up all night in the twilight zone.

I can't say I ever planned to be consumed by a hot beverage but I will take some tea anyway. I don't mind the lack of decaf, I have to be up early tomorrow to raise the sun.

Irony never fails Rod Serling! Imagine, if you will, a narrator willing to comply to your demands for tea. This is what tea tastes like in the twilight zone.

Trick and/or treat! =D I hope that pleases the house! *picks the lollipop* Oh, no, an ant! I guess insects are good sources of protein, but I don't know about this. >_>

Shade ponders the choice before him, a trio of sweets, all appealing to him forgoing the strings. " 'Or' is such an annoying word, I agree... And to have to choose between these three treats would simply be another 'or' in disguise of a choice, yes?"
