 Here Be Dragons.[/size] [/center] A building stands on top of a hill, looking like a cross between a manor and a castle. It's entrance is beautifully decorated with columns and even a balcony but the walls appear thick and towers stand in strategic corners. Tall windows with chandeliers in them are located high up. The whole place is brightly lit, giving it a silvery glow. One thing that stands out however, are the dragons. Statues of the creatures decorate every corner of the house, sometimes being the centre of attention and sometimes much more sublte. The two standing astride the great carved oak door seem to watch anybody who comes to it, their golden eyes glittering in the moonlight. However, they do not seem unwelcome. Each one has a carved pumpkin balanced playfully on the snout. The door opens easily, looking much heavier than it really is. A minion dressed up as a zombie ghost (she says she couldn't decide between the two) greets you warmly and leads you upstairs to what you assumed was the ballroom: it in fact a huge throne room. It's decorated richly with candles and orange and black banners. Ghouls and ghosts seem to lurk behind the large pillars, probably more minions. Some of the portraits have been enchanted so their eyes appear to follow you around the room. Tables of candy are littered around the room, each one heaving with different types for all tastes. A large redwood throne stands at the end with its handles carved into dragons. On it sits...Princess Celestia?! As you look closer, you realise it's in fact just Celestial dressed as the good ruler of Equestria. She smiles warmly as you enter and stands up to greet you! "Hello! I assume you're here for a treat, right?" She gestures around the room. "Help yourself to anything you want!" |

As the other trick-or-treaters help themselves to candy, Coaster has climbed up a particularly precarious dragon statue and pokes the pumpkin atop its snout, ignoring the minions.

Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that if you ask for candy nicely when you go trick or treating, you're likely to get more of it than if you're rude. That's the hey to have a fun Halloween. =D

The dragon suddenly snaps into life and tosses the pumpkin into the air before throwing Coaster off as well. It catches the pumpkin on the snout and stands again, perfectly still. "Oh, sorry, that's a defensive mechanism. In case invaders try to climb up the dragons to get to the castle. Sorry about that. I turned off the automatic mauling at least," I say, giving Coaster a few chocolate bars.
