Among the other houses, there seems to be one with odd decorations. It has no pumpkins or ghosts or witches. Instead there's colorful perforated paper all over the walls and orange flower petals all over the floor. You wonder what that's all about. You decide to walk in and come across what looks like an altar. Welcome visitor! Have you ever heard of Day of the Dead before? In Mexico, we celebrate it every year in November 1st and 2nd. Day of the dead is a party to honor our loved ones who have passed away. It is said that in those days, they come back to earth to be with us again. Would you like to join me in celebrating? Oh, I know what you're thinking. What about Halloween? You're here for trick or treating after all! Well, I love Halloween too, so we can celebrate together! I just thought it'd be fun to share a bit of my culture with you. =D But don't worry, I have lots of treats to give to those who ask nicely.

A small, yellow bori comes in saying 'Trick or Treat.' Why, it's Armin the Small.
Oh, wait; it's just Kozma in a costume. How'd he get inside such a small costume anyway?

I love that picture, Ginz! It's so cool how you took the time to draw all those patterns and show the petals and candles and sweets that are arranged on the altar.
*approaches in overly colorful garish costume* May I please have a sugar skull? =D I will name it and keep it as a pet. 8D

Nova floats up to the table. "GIMME MY CANDY NOW!"
he laughs. "Just kidding! May I have some candy please, Ginz? Everything looks really pretty, I'd like to stay for a while."

This is a beautiful altar indeed. Everything is so bright and colourful, despite it being associated with death. May I have a bit of candy? Not too much though. Leave some of my portion at the altar, I want to pay my respects.

A dark-blue clad necromancer floats up to the table in awe. "Ah, Day of the Dead. I've heard wonderful things about that holiday, though only in scant detail. I wish it was around in my culture."
The necromancer continues to examine the altar, taking note of its decoration and design. Candy does not seem to be the first thing on her mind. Well, except for the sugar skulls.
