If your criticism is made up of "I don't like this" and doesn't get backed up with an objective "why" then it sure sounds overly critical to me >> Unless there's been objective whys back there that my reading-back didn't reveal, in which case can please has recap? Omni brought in a telepathic NPC during a battle to join in the fight and assist her characters. This is a form of godmodding. I requested the action not be repeated. A completely new heretofore unknown NPC or one who had no in-universe reason to step in and help? Then yes, legit complaint. And the rest of 'em disagreements?

Omni's cyber elves seem to be everywhere in the Taco. Although this was in an isolated environment outside of the Taco, there were still cyber elves around, plausibly in the area of the fight. Why the cyber elf NPC chose to help one side does not have clear reasoning. The other complaints are because Omni likes to headcanon while I prefer canon-following. Until it was shown that her headcanons were wrong, Omni claimed to be a devoted canon-follower. The cyber elf NPC in question is not a canon type of cyber elf, but rather a magical variety Omni invented herself.

The line between godmoding and plain ol' power struggles can be slim. Infact, usually it's only the difference in how much is logically explained. And that still makes your critique sound like its main basis is "because I think it should be done differently". Which is a legit enough standpoint to hold, but not really one that can be enforced on anyone.

Which means they shouldn't have been able to appear in the remote location at all. Omni wanted to know when she does something that bugs people. So I'm letting her know. She wanted a second chance, so I'm waiting for her to do something with her second chance.

Either you'll agree that they shouldn't have been able to crop up, or that their abilities differ here, but one way or another you'd get an agreement you don't seem to have right now. *endless advocate of communication* :'D And wayhey, this is where I draw the line between unaware actions that need to be brought into a person's attention and picking on said person's aware choices solely because you don't like them for personal reasons. I could just as well go around telling NT writers that I disliked their story because their Kanrik rendition differed from canon, but since they're not doing anything objectively wrong (creative writers' forum, etcetera), I'd be the one looking mighty rude. In fact, going around sniping at people regardless of reasons is considered mighty rude. Which I believe has been said several times in the past and I really don't like having to repeat myself.

Good idea. They are doing something wrong if their version of a character causes people to find something else to do whenever the character shows up. And when that happens with all of their characters and you have people boycotting the writer all together something is very wrong. You don't write with the individuals whose stories are AU versions of events. In an isolated environment AU is fine. If two people wish to write together their writing must mesh. Normally I ignore the existence of blatant canon-defying writers and their spin-off characters, but Omni asked for a second chance. What was the point of the act if she had no intent of changing? I didn't just decide to snip at someone. I told GLQ what nurse cyber elves do. Then Omni showed up. It is true that this was not over PM, thus really open for anyone to join in on, but perhaps Omni should consider not butting in on a simple conversation she could turn into a fight.
