*playing Civ* They shot down my Bomber! With an Archer! Something about this game is screwy. Everything about that game is screwy. And now I can't figure out how to load my Nuke onto this other Bomber. *pulls hair out*

What's done is done with the elves. I'm not asking you to retcon the magical ones, that wouldn't be fair to the people who adopted them. Your logic is sound, but can also be applied to any instance in the Taco. Cyber Elves are everywhere, and you've given yourself a chance at having mind readers and telekinetics in every nook and cranny. That is why I want you to keep them out of plots and general actions unless they are an actual character. Because I didn't know back then. I trusted that you knew your stuff and admired you for your dedication to detail and canon. Estrya: What are those? Ginga: Ride Armor's name sounds cool *-* Grind: *hops on the windboard and sits down, then raises it up* Awwww, come on. Did you think it might blow up? Thank you. Particularly since at this point, 'the magical ones' includes the original Elf types. Hmm... A couple more things: There are some circumstances where you'll let changes slide, right? Such as with the changes Glyph tried to make with X? *to Estrya* A Ride Chaser is basically a small one-man vehicle that's built close to the ground. They're built in different ways; most of them have built-in weapons, some can jump, and other cool things. Ride Armor is a large vehicle that doubles as a powerful suit of armor. They also come with different features. *to Grind* Well it is blowing itself up. Magical as in they work on both mechanical and organic beings? I reiterate: If it is earned it is fine. The changes to X are something the character really wanted to do. I'm uneasy about it. Ginga: Cool! Estrya: Oh, I see. Are they built by hand? Omen: They both sound pretty awesome. Grind: *grins* Cute. Hey, I can ride with you the first time if you want. Give you a lesson on how to control a windboard.

And now I can't figure out how to load my Nuke onto this other Bomber. *pulls hair out* Do it with duct tape. Clever. I gave up trying to figure out how to load Nukes onto Bombers; now the only way to get Nukes to the distant Spanish/Cuban continent is to transport them city by city from my sub-continent to the formerly Viking continent to the new cities I established on the Spanish/Cuban continent just for this purpose. Speaking of which, my new cities have names like "NukePort", "Destroyer", "City of Death's Angel" and "Disco Fever". EDIT: Oh, and I have two different cities named "London".

*back from stuff* Thank you. Particularly since at this point, 'the magical ones' includes the original Elf types. Hmm... Well, yeah, though they've also become more like their environment, and stuff like that... Hmm... Still, how would you know whether or not something like that had happened to a character just at first glance? It could have happened when you weren't there, or just not been written yet. Or maybe they were in a similar situation as you: Reluctant, but situations seem to force it. Why not give the benefit of doubt? (At least for less... big differences.) Another little thing: If you give a girl a makeup kit for her birthday, does it mean she's not pretty? By hand? Of course not! That would take years. There are factories that make them. They're less common and more expensive that common Reploids, but they're still standard enough for an assembly line. ... A quick lesson before the first race, please.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Omen: How expensive are Reploids? Grind: Okay! *stands up and lowers the board* Do you want to stand in front and have me guide you, or do you want to stand in the back and mimic me?

...so I'm trying to nuke Cuba when Spain, I don't know, decides they're not comfortable with so many Ethiopian colonies on their continent or something, and attack me. One turn later I softened up each major Spanish city with a Nuke and they're begging for a treaty. Although I suppose building a city next to Ibiza called "HELLO IBIZA! HOW ARE YOU?" could be seen as provoking them.

It depends, and it keeps changing. All I really know is that there's usually a few standard models at a time, and unique ones take a lot more than those. ... I'll stand in the back.

"...and in 1908 the mighty Ethiopian empire used nuclear fire to purge the last heretics, the naive and cowardly Spainiards, from the face of the Earth. The new age of harmony with nature would never be threatened again. And that's the end of World History, students. You are dismissed forever."
